COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2012 a: hazy nut brown color that lightens towards the bottom of the glass. 1/4" head that has slight retention. Reduces into very light lacing. Good amount of carbonation. s: nice blend of earthy hop and malt t: A nice sweet malt backbone that is peirced slightly by the hops. Very well balanced taste for an IPA.

I just scored an unbelievable deal at Bell Bev in South Philly - $25 for a case of pounder cans/tall boys! At a buck a beer, this is a thirst quenching, citrus hop front, everyday beer for a steal. Very earthy or pine - ish on the finish. Somehow, I like it ice cold from the can better than on draft (I usually rate drafts better than bottles and cans). Cheers!

This fine ale poured with a foamy, thick head. Smells of malty biscuity stuff. The hops arenít overwhelming and the malt in the background kinda keeps the hops in check. I like the combo malt/hops in this beer and would definitely buy it again. Honk, honk...the goose is loose!

On tap @ Bar James, Javastraat, Amsterdam, who seem to have Goose Island as housebeer. Well with Hertog Jan as their (AB-InBev) house-pilsner... Clear golden color. White head with good lacing. Aromaís: fruity, mild hops, a bit grassy, light sweetness. Flavor is mildly bitter with some malty sweetness. Light bodied. Decent bitterness in the finish. More UK style IPA. Nothing wrong with that.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a one finger white head and nice lacing. Looks extremely carbonated. Smells high in citrus. Tastes dry, highly hopped, just barely enough malt to provide a good aftertaste that isnít overly bitter. Real good but not great.

Has a golden pour with a thin head. Not very aromatic but there are hints of floral hops. Has a grapefruit flavor with hops and a hint of bitterness in the finish.

Smells of lemonade and old orange peel. Taste is nice but with the orangyness of other popular American ipas. Worthy.

On tap at LAX. Nice golden with little head. Light atoma of fruity hops. Bitter with some fruity citrusy notes. Bitterness is nice but flavor is quite light. Palate is just dry bitterness like cooked grapefruit. Not really my thing.
