COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2013 This smells like a crappy american lager but the taste is slightly hoppy. Some pine, some aromatic hop stuff going on but overall underwhelming. Just found out that this brewery was bought out by InBev. Resist the corporate overlords. Boycott

Bouteille. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

35.5cl bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Lovely golden orange, with a good head. Citrus, pine, nice hop taste and aroma. Light caramel. Lovely bitterness. A smooth IPA.

Bottle from maggies grill. Pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head that lasts. Excellent lacing. Aromas of caramel with orange and some floral notes. Has a nice taste with a hoppy spice and a sticky fruity hit. Lovely

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Yellowish-gold with a thin head. Plenty of hops with a nice underlying fruitiness.

On tap at Memphis airport. Pours a copper color with white head. Balanced hoppy, slight grassy, bitter, yet solid malt backbone. Solid, but just not that great.

12oz can. 01MAR14 date. Says brewery fresh for 180 days. Not sure if I believe that, but then again im not the target audience for this one. Anyway, not too bad. Bitter and piney. More malt heavy than I prefer.

Draught at an airport restaurant. The beer is a good and reliable ipa: no surprises and all good. There’s sweetness in the taste in addition to the bitterness of the hops.

Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent dark golden with a thin layer odd cream colored head. Taste of oranges and hops. Aroma of floral hops and citrus.

Bottle. Light amber white head. Nose is caramel/pine/citrus, nasal clearing. Flavour leans more toward the hops but still balanced by the caramel. Finish does have caramel but has a slight dry bite. Not sticky. Very solid version of an old school American IPA, deserves its rep as a classic. ABV is surprising, thought it was ~7%.
