COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2007 pours a slightly hazy orangish gold. aroma is of lemon, little hops as well. taste starts sweet and has a decent bitter finish. had with their honkers ale and thought it was very similar, slightly more bitter.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 I don’t go for this style of beer. I like things a little on smoother side. While this is a well crafted beer I just don’t care for many Pale Ale’s Grapefruit notes for sure.

From bottle at Henry's in Harrison. Pleasant aroma. Straight from the bottle. Very smooth. Nice mix of mold hops. Very drinkable. Would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle 12 oz. Not quite clear golden with good carb & large OW head & fair lace. Aroma is semi sweet malt, grapefruit, & hops. Flavor is sweet malt, grapefruit, & hops followed by a rather bitter hop finish. It’s too sweet for me, with a pronounced hop burn & bite. Unbalanced. Too heavy on the bittering hops, which don’t seem to fit in right, and not enough hop flavor. Reminds me of SNPA.

Pours a strawberry blond color with a creamy head. It has a nice floral hop taste and smell. It has a slightly mild butter scotch aftertaste.

One of the better Indian Pale Ales I have had. Wish we could get this beer in Tennessee, but as with it seems most good beers, you can’t.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2015 Nice but simple. The head doesn’t stick around for too long. Relatively light carbonation; a great, hoppy aroma with hints of pineapple; and a reasonably bitter taste that is very accessible for an IPA. Overall, very nice and drinkable. Points off because I was expecting a bit more body.

Pours a cloudy orange with less than a finger of stark white head. Fairly strong odor of floral hops in the nose. Starts fairly light and watery, leading to a basic bitterness. It’s good, but a little watery.
