Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Wow this is pretty good. I agree that if it wasn't for other truely outstanding IPA's such as Three Floyds Dreadnaught, this would be at the top of the list. It's close to it though. Has a nice aroma, poured nice dark golden color with a slight head remaining through the glass. Nice lacing along the way as well. Great flavor with hints of grapefruit. Good carbonation. This is another outstanding beer that you must try if you like IPAs, which are now part of my favorites list as I seem to have been getting really good ones lately. Do not pass Go, Just GO, and get some of this.

From the bottle. Amber and orange colour, nice aroma, delicious floral and fruity notes. Hoppy pine and citrus after taste. An understated classic IPA.

Had a six pack from race track watching the national championship game. While this beer food not get a great rating it has a nice subtle hop aroma that is unique. Taste is sweet and citrus. I would drink again. Good session beer

This is a very smooth IPA. The hops don't hit you too hard, but they're there. Just last night I was wondering what's wrong with my beer palate, I only seem impressed by the extremes. I'm glad this proves that I can still appreciate subtle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Amber with a light white medium head. Flowery hops - not as strong as I hoped. Strong lasting bitterness with minimal malt to back it up. Good full body.

Pours clear amber-orange appearance, lively carbonation, lasting lace, hop-forward, fruity, citrusy aroma, set off by a perfectly balanced hop/malt middle, creamy, refreshing palate, nice citrusy finish.

Bottle; Color: Rich, golden color with orange tint. Aroma: citrus, perfume. Flavor: Overwhelming tarte; bitterness that overpowers the mildly citris flavor.

From notes. Pours a nice slightly burnt amber color with an inch of off-white head. Nice big citrus aroma, with some floral notes as well. There is a fairly sweet malty aroma that blends nicely with the hops. The flavor is pretty well balanced, nice citrusy bitter hop backed with some sweet malt, defiantly not a dry IPA. This one is on the lighter side of a medium body, the carbonation is also on the lower side of medium. The bitterness of the finish doesn’t linger for very long making it pretty refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2007 Very much a mediocre IPA. Some mild flavor of hops, grapefruit, malt, and yeast but neither well blended nor well balanced. Finish tastes like cardboard.
