3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not the best IPA around but well worth the time, lacks abit of the complexity of some of the Westies. I still love it(in the bottle, crap on tap in most places).

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2007 A surprisingly deep flavor (from a now mass-brewer). Takes their already hoppy flavor to a new place. Stays smooh and clean on the palate with malt-caramel flavor mixed in with the hoppy fruit presence. [$6.79/6pk]

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Poured a fine amber with a bubbly white head. Smells of piney hops and a hint of fruit. Nice dry mouthfeel, with a hoppy bite. Smooth drinker. Nice.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has a pleasant, mild hoppy aroma to it. Decent golden amber color with a light head. Wonderful hoppy flavor, I quite enjoyed it. Has a good body, texture, and carbonation. Overall, a pretty good IPA.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a very smooth IPA. The hops don't hit you too hard, but they're there. Just last night I was wondering what's wrong with my beer palate, I only seem impressed by the extremes. I'm glad this proves that I can still appreciate subtle.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: Nice and fresh. Fruit like mango, strawberries and of course orange and grapefruit. Also, some resinous elements.
Mouthfeel: Medium oily body.
Taste: Mmmm. Bitter and crisp. Hoppy, but on a good, balanced malt background. A lot of citrus goodness. Not as agressive as brewdogs and flying dogs:)
Finish: Bitterness that lasts and lasts. Citrus notes carry on to a tannic feel.
Overall: Definitely a winner. Delicious and round. Very very enjoyable indeed.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft, poured golden with white head, minimal lacing. Light to meduim body, not a big hop IPA, stronger malts, suprisingly good. Nice to see and taste AB hasnít ruined this brand.

Pours clear amber-orange appearance, lively carbonation, lasting lace, hop-forward, fruity, citrusy aroma, set off by a perfectly balanced hop/malt middle, creamy, refreshing palate, nice citrusy finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Deep golden colour, with a fine white head. Nose of yeast, fruit and hops. Malty, hoppy flavor, but to watery. could need more spices and hops. This was a dissapointment...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Iím no fan of IPAís. They are too hoppy. There are only one or two I can think of that are appealing to me. This one is hoppy, although I wonít hold it against the brewer. I can recognize a better than average IPA when I taste one. This one pours a light brown from the bottle. Good head retention and lacing. There is that distinct hop aroma that dominates the flavor as well. The palate is quite characteristic, but thatís why I gave it an average rating. As far as drinkability goes, well I wouldnít drink more than one or two at a time before I had to drink something else.
