COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Hazy. Good Head. You could smell pine but do not taste it.. Tastes sweet and lightly hoppy. Real easy to drink Good One.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2016 Initial rating: 35.5cl bottle at home. Strong citrus and hoppy flavoured aromas coming from an amber coloured, clear lively brew with white, yellow diminishing foam on top. The nose has some creamy, vanilla and pinewood hints too. Really lovely. The taste indeed is fruity, with citrus and oranges features, but it also is very dry and high in malts. The bitterness of course masters the palate. A modest - for its really light bodied and non-complex character -, good tasting IPA from the iconic Goose Island brewery.

25cl draft from tap at De Trollekelder, Ghent (22 VII 2016). A hazy amber ale with egg white foam on top. The nose is full of wheat, hops, green grass. The taste is very, very lovely with many malts and great hops - with a long lasting bitterness in the finish. Classic, perfect.

16 oz. can at Sugarfire O’Fallon MO. I just picked this one up thinking "it’s an IPA, how bad could it be?" It greatly exceeded all expectations, changing my mind about macrobrew IPA’s. Good pine and slight citrus hop character, great finish, definitely worth trying. Easy to find and unpretentious, you could do much worse than this when you need an IPA and a premium bottle shop is not available.

On tap at Elephant & Castle in Chicago. Pours a clear orange straw color. Big white head with very good retention. Wonderful aroma of piney hops. Flavor is grass and earthy hops, but with a hint of toffee sweetness and roasted grains. Medium mouthfeel and lingering floral hop finish. Nice.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2003 Rerate:Too generous first time. Bottle conditioned but you cant't tell except for the bubbles on the head. Pours highly carbonated but minimal, milky, lacey head. The head is quality but small. Aroma straight fruity, piney.Taste is very BITTER. There might be malts their but I can't tell.EXREMELY drinkable.Full flavored till the end but not a knockout. This beer is barely balanced. This will satisfy any hop craving.

A great IPA. Clear yellowish orange body with a long lasting rocky head of small white bubbles. Piney aroma with some citrus rinds. Bitter hop flavors with a balance of sweet malts. Lingering bitterness and easy to sip. Glad this is now available in Florida.

A solid IPA. The hop complexity is low, but its not thin, for sure. There is a solid bitter presence as a backbone, which I appreciate. Could use some more aroma hops. Overall, its pretty well balanced and drinkable. Nothing offensive I can find about it. Enjoyable.
