COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a bright, gleaming orange color, with a big, creamy head that clings to the glass. The aroma isn’t overly skewed to the hoppy characteristics, with notes of citrus peel and pine contrasting against light bready malts. The flavor is a bit dull and earthy, although there is some bright pine character and a light bready sweetness at its base. The light, fine carbonation is nice, but there isn’t as much lingering bitterness as I expected. Overall, this is a solid but unremarkable IPA that I will gladly drink up but won’t seek out.

Bottle. Average head that was off white and fizzy. Light citrus aroma on the nose, with a medium hop taste. Overall, a well balanced beer that would serve as a good introductory ipa beer to those who are afraid of hops.

pours a golden to slight copper color with a fluffy head and good lacing. the aroma is critrus, piney, some malt. the flavor is nice and citrus up front followed by a nice malt body and finished with almost a pineapple taste. the palate is a medium to heavier body. overall its is a nice crisp beer with a dry finish, this isnt the best i have ever had but its pretty good for being part of AB.

pretty good ipa. although as it warmed it lost some of its kick. i think i prefer sierra nevada although not technically an IPA.

Firm hops aroma. Pretty light golden amber. Smooth for an IPA. Relies on the hops without a disctinct citrus flavor. Thought that it might have a little more kick for an IPA. But looking at it overall as a pale ale, it is very good.

A decent enough IPA. Plenty of malt, quite pared down on the hops. Really something of a session ale, despite knocking over 5%. Easy drinking, clean finish.

For the hop lover and once again this fairytale from a basic IPA. Nice starting aroma, but not during only during. Botlle

Bottle from Sainsburys Team Valley. A fantastic IPA. Delicate floral and fruity flavour, but still full bodied and satisfying

Pretty good IPA. It has a grapefruity taste to it.

Smells like grapefruit and pine, what a shocker. Amber with decent head. Thin mouthfeel. One dimensional malt flavor is completely dominated by citric hops. Where is this frutiness I have been hearing about? Hops won't go away, even after the glass has long been emptied. Should come with a white and black generic American IPA label on it with a caution: This beer lacks creativity or character. BTW, if you are looking for a great IPA from this region, get the Bells Two Hearted Ale listed to your right.
