COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

12 oz. bottle poured into shaker. Pours clear amber with a generous off-white head with slight carbonation and light lacing. Nice citrusy-pine hop aroma. Very well-balanced flavor. Typically I don’t love the highly-rated, balanced IPA’s (Sculpin, Headhunter, etc.), but for some reason I’m quite fond of this.

Bottle, 35.5cL. Home. A wonderful golden orange yellow beer with a medium creamy white head. Thin bubbles. Medium persistence. Good lacing. Fruity aroma (exotic fruits), resin, herbs, smoke. Intense ! Medium to heavy refreshing bitter, sharp dry, light sweet. Medium body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, dry lasting bitter finish. Overall, beautiful, delicious (basket of fruits), good dry bitterness.

This is a very smooth IPA. The hops don't hit you too hard, but they're there. Just last night I was wondering what's wrong with my beer palate, I only seem impressed by the extremes. I'm glad this proves that I can still appreciate subtle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gold, crisp-looking pour with a milkshake head. Hop and spice aroma. The flavor was similar with hops, fleshy fruit, faint anise at the end.

On tap at Buffalo Wild Wings, Terminal D, Atlanylta Airport. Pours darker amber with good sized off white head. Aroma is citrusy with solid malt presence. Taste is hoppy with citrus fruit and grass. Spicy malts present as well. Little bitterness. Palate is softly carbonated. Not bad, but I think the tap system here is contaminated. Some slinky notes in the after taste.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2003 I've got to stay away from these IPA's. Their just too bitter. NOW I NEED 75 CHARACTERS TO DESCRIBE A BEER? What the fuck is going on. Okay, this beer tasted like the underside of a llama scrotum. I would have described it as a Goose scrotum considering the name, but I have never seen a scrotum on a goose. I would rather eat a dead dog's dick. If someone would have warmed up piss and mixed it with a touch of very fine diarrhea, I still would have requested they add cod sperm to get the desired taste. The aroma was much more like the smell one might encounter in the ass crack of a boat full of Haitians coming towards Florida. War never solved anything. Except for slavery and the holocaust and to a lesser extent, communism and facism. So go tell that to the flaming liberals who use that phrase as an excuse. Don Cherry was right....as he always is. And I'm an American, not a Canadian. Speaking of communism, isn't that what it is called when someone forces you to use more characters than you really need to in order to describe a beer. Either that, or it's called 6th grade. If anyone is looking for a really good band to check out, take a listen to Down. The lead singer is the singer from Pantera. The big difference here is that he sings. For those who are unfamiliar with Down, please download the song "Stone the Crow" and work from there. They are awesome \m/

Pours pale golden with a medium white head, classic American IPA aroma of tropical fruits and sweetened pine taste is somewhat similer but the hop bitterness isn't so big that it over powers the sweet backbone. via Beer Buddy
