Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

Bottle. Cloudy and amber. Orangish aroma. Malty flavor with a nice bitter finish. Very tasty and easy to put down.

Very smooth and easy to drink. Not a great deal of bitterness, although the beer was refreshing and crisp. Didnít beat me over the head with hops either. Glad I picked it up, but not something I will keep in my regular rotation.

I was a little dissapointed with this....I think cause it was waaaaaaaaay past its best buy date so i think some of the flavors and aroma were off. not bad though Iím sure a fresh bottle would be outstanding!

On bottle, pours slightly cloudy golden with offwhite head. Aroma of grass, pine and earthy notes. Taste is smooth at first, then a nice hop bitterness of pine comes through.

gold in color. smells like toast with orange marmalade. starts sweet and citrusy, then a bit of a bitter hop bite... but not the 'ooomph' i like in my ipas. thin palate. not offensive, not great, but very drinkable.

Had on draft at Goose Island Brewery, Wrigleyville, Chicago, IL. Pours a hazy orange color with a think white head. Taste is grapefruit, pine, and caramel. Nice easy finish. Another great goose beer.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Pours rich, clear, gold with a medium white head. Heavy on the hops with a floral, citrus, and grass aroma. A light sweet taste which is nice from an IPA and it still has the nice bitter bite to give it a nice robustness. A somewhat light body with a medium bitter finish. One of the better IPAs Iíve had. One Iíll get on a regular basis.

This is a very smooth IPA. The hops don't hit you too hard, but they're there. Just last night I was wondering what's wrong with my beer palate, I only seem impressed by the extremes. I'm glad this proves that I can still appreciate subtle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth and oily textured ale. Light amber golden body with small head. Beautifully touched by strong orange and grapefruit flavor with floral hop bitterness. Fruity-perfume smell. Dry bitter-fruity aftertaste. Medium carbonated.
