COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottled. Very pale copper color with soft, foamy off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mostly piney hops with a little bready note in it. Flavor is fairly well--balanced with pine-resin hops predominating. Nice long hoppy finish. Solid.

Not bad. Kind of reminds me of Bell’s Two Hearted Ale excepted maybe a little sweeter. Lots of cascade hops. Eggshell head and orange looking. Decent.

Light golden body, frothy white head. Citrus aromas coming from the hops. A little malt coming through to balance the bitterness. Hops and bitterness aren’t over the top. A lighter, easy drinking IPA. Definitely sessionable.

Hazy dark blond colour. Sweet aroma with some tropical fruit. Plenty of malt softness in the flavour giving good balance against the fruity hops. Finish is creamy, fruity, dry. -Fish!

On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. A very nice IPA. Gold body with a good white head. Aroma of hops and citrus, a bit of sweetness. Flavor is hoppy and citrusy, very light and refreshing with just that touch of sweetness.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2014 355ml bottle. Cloudy orange colour with a lovely smooth white head. Strong floral, fruity hop aroma. The flavour has a lot of fruity sweetness, maybe some orange but with a nice bitter IPA finish. Lots of hops with a spicy quality and by no means overly bitter. Re-rated down as not as good as last time I drank it.

Appetizing golden hue. Taste is moderate hops and light fruit. A decent standard IPA.

Bottle. Amber. Citrus (grapefruit), hops, malts, caramel, spices. Doesn’t finish very dry, nor bitter.

12 oz bottled on 09/21/10...poured golden yellow with a slight orange hue, nice head retention, white and fluffy...aroma of citrus, pine, caramel...medium bodied beer (light for an IPA), average carbonation, with a slight bitter finish. Overall, just a straight forward well balanced IPA that I enjoyed quite a bit.
