COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

Pours golden with medium white head. Floral and citrus aroma. Initially a very good hops taste but it ends up a little dry and thin thus the low score in the palate catagory. Itís not bad especially for a beer I can find in Krogers but it reminds me of what IPA concentrate would taste like. Similiar to the difference between orange juice from concentrate and fresh squeezed.

hoppy citrusy armoma -pous a slightly hazy copper orange with a white head. nice lacing on the glass- flavor is citrus and hops with a nice balance of malt - very nice flavor - this is not the best IPA but is a good one. I really enjoyed this. This is a fairly mild IPA and is very drinkable.

One of my favorite IPAs. Extremely hoppy (resin) and very complex (perhaps some caramel) with a dry and bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Pours rich, clear, gold with a medium white head. Heavy on the hops with a floral, citrus, and grass aroma. A light sweet taste which is nice from an IPA and it still has the nice bitter bite to give it a nice robustness. A somewhat light body with a medium bitter finish. One of the better IPAs Iíve had. One Iíll get on a regular basis.

Very good brew. Pours amber color, only slightly cloudy. Nice foam head attatched. Smell is good, nothing fancy, but solid. Taste is full of hops, and a slight pine taste. Very drinkable brew for it provides, thanks for the chance to try it kc.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice goldenrod color, nice pearly head with good lacing. Aroma is a bitter hops, some spices. Flavor is hoppy, and ends on a musty note with currants. All in all it’s an okay IPA, not quite enough flavor for me, however.

Solid IPA, at times i thought I lmight like this better than the xxx IIPA, but in the end itís not as complete nor compex a beer as itís older brother. Itís a beutiful standard IPA, if you like hops youí;ll like this. On Tap @ Goose Island pub lincoln park

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2007 Light amber/orange color, with an impressive off-white head. Very nice lacing. Inviting pine/citrus aroma. Flavors are an extension of the aroma, but add to that some malt, and then round it all out with a pleasant bitterness. Very smooth, and extremely drinkable. My glass is already empty, so I think Iíll have another.
