COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Pours rich, clear, gold with a medium white head. Heavy on the hops with a floral, citrus, and grass aroma. A light sweet taste which is nice from an IPA and it still has the nice bitter bite to give it a nice robustness. A somewhat light body with a medium bitter finish. One of the better IPAs Iíve had. One Iíll get on a regular basis.

Stylistically very hoppy, but still refreshing. Citric and fruity, long bitter aftertaste. Great American-style IPA!

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2009 Not as strong or dry as other IPAs. The hops do not give off as much aroma as Sierria Nevada PA or IPA. It is a good beer to drink anytime. A bit above average but not great.

This is a very good IPA and at a reasonably good value. I appreciate the lingering bitterness of the hops. Thereís plenty of tang to go around just as youíd expect. Good malty body is there but you have to get past the hops to find it...just as it should be with an IPA. What I really like about this IPA is that is readily available at a lot of retail outlets.

Draft at Goose Island Clybourn brewpub. A clear pale gold, little head or carbonation - seems to be a trend here. Lovely aroma of... well... of marijuana. Lovely fresh hop flavour. And thereís that weed again. This is wonderful stuff. The star of the show at Goose Island this evening. They are out of the Imperial IPA - I canít imagine what that would be like. Hard to top this.

Bottle. Light orange with tight white head. Mellow hop citrus aroma. Soft on the palate, with a hop and toasted malt finish. Good balance. Kind of reminds me a smaller Great Divide Titan.

This beer has some really nice aromas of citrus and pine from the hops. Lots of differing flavors of grapefruit, pine, and mild grassiness. This is a very nice go to beer.

Pours a light golden color with a frothy creamy head that stays for a while. Nice hoppy taste with a little bit of a sour hoppy after taste. I will buy this beer again.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice goldenrod color, nice pearly head with good lacing. Aroma is a bitter hops, some spices. Flavor is hoppy, and ends on a musty note with currants. All in all it’s an okay IPA, not quite enough flavor for me, however.

For a solid, everyday IPA, hard to beat.
