COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

Just an average IPA. Not enough hops for an IPA. Palatable, more malty than hoppy.

Light copper color, Flowery, grapefruit hop aroma. Taste is of grapes, grapefruit, with some caramely notes. Finish was semi-dry.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2007 Iím sorry. I donít care about the history. I donít care about the American tradtion of enjoying this bitter pine needle-tasting swill. This ale tastes like soap.

Een helder, goudkleurig bier met witte kraag. Aroma hoppig en bittere smaak zoals je van een IPA verwacht. Verder weinig complex of bijzonder en een beetje waterig. Mwah.

Had this one at the brew pub right down the street from Wrigley Field. I was pleasantly surprised by this IPA. Nice fruity aroma. Starts lightly on the palate with a burst of hops in the end. Long and tasty finish.

12 oz bottle poured in a tulip. The beer pours a clear golden orange with a thin whirte head and little lacing. Aroma is subdued but I pick up citrus, pine, and caramel. Flavor is pine and citrus up front. It is met with a juicy tropical fruit flavor and caramel. Mouthfeel is juicy, quenching, and somewhat dry. Tasty and sessionable.

12oz bottle (thanks to shigadeyo) poured a clear orange color with a small white head. The aroma was floral citrus with some pine and caramel malts. Taste was well balanced with a small push toward the hops. Good malt profile make this beer a nice treat. A big change from all the west coast IPAís that are normally around.

Bottle. Muddy yellow brown body. Small white head. Sweet hoppy aroma, much fruit. Strong fresh fruity flavour. Well-balanced bitterness. Medium bitter finish. (Lorry, Oslo, 07.07.08)
