Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

dark orangeish-amber with a nice head. floral and citrus hop aroma. Nice flavor of flowers, pine, grapefruit and citrus, pleasant change of pace with floral hops more prevalent. malt also balances nicely and leads to a pleasant bitter hop finish.

Where: Old Line Fine Wine Spirits & Bistro. How: 12 ounce bottle. Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a white foamy head. Aroma: Earthy and spicy hop aroma, decent. Taste: Earthy hop bitterness, with a caramel sweetness and malts. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Pretty much the quintessential IPA. Very good representation.

Pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Aromas of some citrus and floral hops but rather tame. Flavor is hop heavy with a slight malt backbone and a bitter dry finish. First Goose I’ve tried and I will say this is a highly drinkable IPA. Not near the best I’ve tried but solid nonetheless.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34- thanks Kris! Pours out a nice light hazy orange. Slight white head and lacing. Nose is of spicy earthy hops. Taste- hops at the front of the tongue- not a huge hop bite, slightly oily, heavier on the bitter side. Bitterness slides into a solid malt backbone. Good balance- finish is woody and dry. Nice mouthfeel and good carbonation. Classice american IPA stylings. Nice combo of traditional british IPA and left coast American IPA.

Ar: Grapefruit rind, some candied orange, and caramel. Ap: Orange-copper - clear - small off-white head with moderate retention and some scattered bits of lacing. T: Light sweetness and bready - grapefruit and orange - medium-high clean bitterness - toasted malt and caramel, with grapefruit, on the finish. P: Medium body with high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Full-flavored and clean IPA - nice balance between malt and bright hops.
