Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

a good but not great ipa - a little bit of sourness and that chalkiness you get really bad in porters - but nice hoppiness - could be sweeter, but probably not unless it was also hoppier and more alcoholic - I think I just like my ipas a bit more bigger in every way.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a decent white head that disappears quickly leaving a thin ring and some lacing. Hints of pine and grass in the aroma. Taste is medium bitter and almost no sweetness. Average carbonation, light to medium body, flavors of grapefruit, maybe other citrus, no perceptible malt, medium texture and a solidly bitter finish that shows a sticky sweetness in the far finish.

aroma of sweet pine; pours a dark cloudy gold; flavor is a bold bitter but works as a session beer also. I love this beer, it has a great flavor and the hop resins linger on and on. This and the New Glarus IPA make living in the midwest alot less depressing.

Nice earthy hop aroma. Not the citrusy, grapefruity, Cascade aroma that is oh so common in American IPA's. Good deep golden color. Light carbonation and a pillowy white head. Sturdy malt base, earthy hop flavor. I think this is a nice balanced beer. An English style IPA, not American. It won't blow your head off with hops, but that's nice once and a while! Well done!

yellow orange, slightly hazy liquid. pours a white yellowish silky head. the aromascape is very standard IPA with added ginger sweetness, very well done. this is a prime example of an IPA, very balanced but not surprising.

Clear, gold pour, no real head. Fruity aroma. With plenty of hops, fruit and some malt in the taste, very crisp. Very well done, a superb beer

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice amber color with a thick foamy white head, very appetizing-looking. Aroma is full of fresh hops, but not overly-hopped. Balanced and very drinkable. Especially great for the price... I think that this may be a regularly-stocked item for me. =)

It had a cloudy yellow/orange color with a small head. You can definitely taste the hops. It had a nice finish.

Bottle. A good IPA, the bitterness was on the lighter end of what I feel a IPA should have, but the hops were all flavor and aroma. The initial taste there is a slight hint of coffee. I might have had a bad bottle but there was a slight taste of wet cardboard, like a oxidized beer.

A slightly hazy orange-amber color with a nice white head. Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Nice flavor, obviously itís hoppy, some nice malt flavors as well. Nice bitter finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. I drank this A LOT in college. Now that Iíve moved to Chicago, I find myself drinking a lot once again. Overall very good, but not the best IPA.
