3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not the best IPA around but well worth the time, lacks abit of the complexity of some of the Westies. I still love it(in the bottle, crap on tap in most places).

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice floral aroma with a bit of citrus. Pours cloudy with a nice white head. Slight sweetness and then a very pleasant medium to heavy bitterness. Light body, average carbonation for an IPA, nice finish that lingers and begs for another sip.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tastes of pine and fruit. Pretty standard IPA for this price range. Not quite in sn torpedo IPA territory, but better than the sa lattitude 48 IPA and others. Surpring from a subsidiary of a macro brewer. This is not at all like the shock top wheat "ipa", which is in no way shape, or form an IPA. This is legit- at least for now. We?ll see what a few more years of corporate ownership brings. In the present, though, its a reasonable representative of the style and very competitive taste wise with similarly priced ipas.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft, poured golden with white head, minimal lacing. Light to meduim body, not a big hop IPA, stronger malts, suprisingly good. Nice to see and taste AB hasnít ruined this brand.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Average, not particularly robust nor lacking excessively in character, this IpA splits the middle ground on a decent brew, which, while pleasing on a nice warm afternoon, is not amazing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Deep golden colour, with a fine white head. Nose of yeast, fruit and hops. Malty, hoppy flavor, but to watery. could need more spices and hops. This was a dissapointment...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Iím no fan of IPAís. They are too hoppy. There are only one or two I can think of that are appealing to me. This one is hoppy, although I wonít hold it against the brewer. I can recognize a better than average IPA when I taste one. This one pours a light brown from the bottle. Good head retention and lacing. There is that distinct hop aroma that dominates the flavor as well. The palate is quite characteristic, but thatís why I gave it an average rating. As far as drinkability goes, well I wouldnít drink more than one or two at a time before I had to drink something else.

Very impressive IPA, excellent malty flavor with hop ballence crisp, almost tastes like a bitter, very well done.

a tad harsh for an ipa. has a very raw taste to it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very good IPA, nice mixture of hops and malt. It has a very lite fruit hint along with that hop bite which goes together nicely.
