COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Clear amber with a thick frothy off white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, caramel, pine, and light bread with a hint of spice. Medium velvety body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Flavor of bread, orange peel, grapefruit, biscuits, caramel, and pine with a hint of spice and leather. Hoppy, but not as ridiculously overdone as with some American IPAs. Good.

@Stoutandlager. Classique.

Ah afraid this one was a disappointment from a usually reliable brewery. Had it some while back and can’t remember the full details. Sweet and smooth but there was just something unpleasant about it. Will be back again for a full review.

35,5 cl bottle, pours a clear golden with a tiny head, medium bitterness, pretty light drinkable and decent beer.

Somewhat cloudy golden in color with a white head, decent lacing. Pine aroma with floral and citrus hints to it. Definite hops in there and in the taste as well. Starts out bold and continues you throughout. Light citrus taste underneath the hops. Bitter finish turns me off a bit, admittedly though, I am not a big IPA fan. That being said, its a pretty decent representation of the style.

Pours a clear golden copper, with little head and an equally small amount of lace. Nice aroma of grass and citrus. Flavor is citrus and citrus fruit rind with a finish that is slightly bitter, but clean.

Helder oranje-geel bier. Geuren van hop, mout, bloemen. Smaken van hop, licht bitter, grassige nasmaak. Lekkere frisse IPA, niet heel uitgesproken van smaak, goede introductie hoe een IPA smaakt als je dit soort bier niet kent.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2013 Pours rich, clear, gold with a medium white head. Heavy on the hops with a floral, citrus, and grass aroma. A light sweet taste which is nice from an IPA and it still has the nice bitter bite to give it a nice robustness. A somewhat light body with a medium bitter finish. One of the better IPAs I’ve had. One I’ll get on a regular basis.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2013 Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Smells very grapefruity and grassy with a hint of sour fruit candy (ie. Sour punch straws, sour skittles). Taste is grapefruit and slight pine with a minimal malt prescence. Thin and very oily, smooth mouthfeel. Relatively high carbonation. Very tasty though it could benefit from some light colored specialty malts for a little more body. Kind of predictable for an IPA and nothing out of the ordinary, but still delicious and solid.

Stylistically very hoppy, but still refreshing. Citric and fruity, long bitter aftertaste. Great American-style IPA!
