COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2007 Light amber/orange color, with an impressive off-white head. Very nice lacing. Inviting pine/citrus aroma. Flavors are an extension of the aroma, but add to that some malt, and then round it all out with a pleasant bitterness. Very smooth, and extremely drinkable. My glass is already empty, so I think Iíll have another.

Pours a golden color with decent head and a little lacing. Aroma reminds me of being lost in a sea of spruce trees. One of the better tasting IPAís I have ever had but it has a bitter aftertaste and it leaves a thick residue in the mouth.

Not your typical IPA but definitely exploding with hops. Very good beer.

Draft. Pours a dark gold color with a brief white head leaving some nice lacing. Aroma is mostly malt with some hops but the taste brings out more of The hops which are balanced. Clean finish, medium body. Very good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Very pale copper color with soft, foamy off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mostly piney hops with a little bready note in it. Flavor is fairly well--balanced with pine-resin hops predominating. Nice long hoppy finish. Solid.

Light golden body, frothy white head. Citrus aromas coming from the hops. A little malt coming through to balance the bitterness. Hops and bitterness arenít over the top. A lighter, easy drinking IPA. Definitely sessionable.

Hazy dark blond colour. Sweet aroma with some tropical fruit. Plenty of malt softness in the flavour giving good balance against the fruity hops. Finish is creamy, fruity, dry. -Fish!

On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. A very nice IPA. Gold body with a good white head. Aroma of hops and citrus, a bit of sweetness. Flavor is hoppy and citrusy, very light and refreshing with just that touch of sweetness.

Bottle. Amber with a light white medium head. Flowery hops - not as strong as I hoped. Strong lasting bitterness with minimal malt to back it up. Good full body.

Very good IPA. One of the first few IPAís I ever had when just starting out trying new craft beers. Still one of the best I have ever had.
