Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Cloudy to mostly clear golden, honey color. Thin white head that dissipated rather quickly. Although, it did leave some lacing on the glass as I sipped. Very prominent, fresh, floral, perfumy hops in the nose was the first characteristic. Had a very slight hint of fruit underlying the floral aroma. The taste had a very pronounced bitterness with a sweet flavor. Very punchy with the bitter aftertaste. Really hangs around on the palate. I Like It!!! Had a mostly thin mouthfeel. To me it was light, crisp and smooth. Easily drinkable. Reminds me of the freshness of spring. Love the bitterness of this brew and the smell was possibly the best aspect of the beer. This beer goes well with the warm spring and summer days.

A hazy pale amber beer with a lasting white head. Hop aromas are grassy and slightly spicy. The malty aroma is of fresh sweet wort. Both play a big part which is great. a very creamy mouth feel, the carbonation is pretty much perfect for the beer. Awesome balance for my palate at least. Distinctly american but also tradtional in many ways.

From bottle. Part of May Dayton Beertasting event. Pours golden amber. Piney hops dominate the nose. Crisp taste with caramel malt finishing off. Nice effort.

Hazy warm golden. A really nice white/beige head that says "come drink me now!!" Aroma is butterscotch, peanuts and freshly baked bread. Some floral notes aswell. Taste is sweet, juicy and hoppy. Also a lot of floral flavours, bergamot and orange peel. Sustaining bitter finish. Very drinkable. A bit too sweet for my liking but still a very solid IPA.

The aroma was fruitily hoppy with hints of citrus/apricot. The appearance was yellow-orange. The flavor was lightly sweet up front with a hoppy, pine cone-like finish with a lingering aftertaste - just the way I like it!!! The mouthfeel was pleasantly fizzy on the tip of my tongue and medium bodied. Overal a nice IPA.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy sunset brown with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of spice notes to it. Strong sweet malt flavor with slight roasted notes. Finish is smooth and malty. Richly spiced. Plenty of bitter hops in the finish. This is an excellent IPA.

Light amber pour. Medium head that falls fast. Unfortunate bitterness that ruins the beer. Highly hopped, which makes my stomach cry for Pepto or Tums later on. I just don’t dig the hops.
