COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Goose Island delivers a reliably delicious IPA, milder hoppiness than others but very enjoyable. Pours a copper/ yellow orange color, just average appearance. Smell is fresh fruity hops and toasty caramel malt. Anticipates the taste which is likewise a well-balanced combination of slightly caramel maltiness and tropical and piney hoppiness. Very smooth, finishes with a pleasant hoppy aftertaste. Bitterness is light and refreshing, also reminiscent of English style ales. Very well done overall, recommended!

Bottle. Poured a golden yellowish color. Aroma of hops is nice. Taste is very balanced with hops all through your mouth.

Pours a bright orange/gold with a huge head that leaves lots of lacing on the glass. I detected grapefruit and pine notes. Has just the right amount of bitterness for an IPA.

On tap at Royal Oak Pub. Pours a good size frothy head that goes away not long after. Has a pale golden appearance. Thick patchy lacing. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. Flavours are mostly citrus hops and bready and caramel malts. Average carbonation. Light bodied mouthfeel. Pretty good, just missing a bit of punch for an IPA.

12 oz.Bottle: Pours a Red/Amber color with a large sustaing foamy white head. Aroma is big flowery hops, some light fruit, and a little pepper spice. Flavor is hop dominated, sweeter hops at that, with a dry bitter lasting finish. Could’ve used far more balance.

Tap at Holy Grail in Cincinnati. This was just listed as Goose Island, with pale ale in parentheses. But, since the rest of the selection there was mostly BMC, I’m guessing they meant it was this one. (If anyone knows for sure, please correct me if I’m wrong) Poured clear and golden with a short head. Good aroma of grassy hops and citrus fruit. Flavor and mouthfeel were pretty well balanced and complex. Tons of dry-hopped goodness along with lemon and orange citrus, a tiny bit of malty sweetness and a little oakiness thrown in for good measure. Goes down dry and crisp. Overall, very good.

Butelka. Barwa ciemno złota, klarowna. Piana biała, szybko opadająca. Intensywny aromat owoców ( mango, brzoskwinia). Smak podobnie, wysokie wysycenie ze średnią do wysokiej niezalegającą goryczką. Orzeźwiające.

Orangish color with medium head. Not overwhelming with the hops aroma but solid.Hoppy bitter taste that finishes the same way. A average IPA

Not much Pine Sol, pretty mild hop flavor, not in your face. Somewhat earthy hops. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
