Fresh citrus and piney aromas. Easy palate with loads of hops, citrus fruits and grass. Well made ipa in all aspects.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours medium amber with a full off-white head. Nice lacing is left on the glass as it is drank. Floral hops and spice dominate the aroma. Nice, full, creamy mouthfeel leads to a perfect example of how an IPA should taste. Hops, caramel, pine, and more hops. Finishes slightly bitter, which is no surprise. A great beer at a great price.

Very well done. Exceeded my expectations, especially from this brewery. Nicely hopped, with a good aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2006 I was pleasently suprised by how good this was. This IPA really is as good as any other American IPA I’ve had. Huge hop aroma and huge citrusy grapefruit aroma. Has all the best qualities that an IPA has that I enjoy.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2014 Solid IPA, easy drinking, nothing outstanding, but light and hoppy, slightly fruity, very smooth, good session ipa, not too strong either which is great for session.

Serving: from tap at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor.
Aroma: light pine hop.
Appearance: small, creamy, off-white initial head with fair lacing and mostly-diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body.
Taste: lightly bitter and citrusy initial flavor and finish with short duration.
Palate: light-to-medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation.

355ml bottle from Tesco.
Frothy white head settles quickly with good lacing. Clear golden amber body. Nose is pine, citrus, slightly sweet. Flavour of toffee, grass, some lemon. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full with medium carbonation. I like this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours gold with a large, frothy white head. Sweet, citrus aroma. This is also the dominate inital flavor before eventually turning slightly more bitter-hoppy at the finsh. Softly carbonated with a watery texture. A well balanced brew that doesn’t try to kill your palate with bitterness. I would say this is a good choice to introduce someone new to the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2011 12 oz Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with light, quickly dissipating head. Nose is citrus including orange and a little lemon plus sweet malts and nice dose of grass and floral hops. Taste is similar to the nose with the orange and sweetness being balanced by grassy and floral hops. Nice strong hop flavor but not overly bitter. Great mouthfeel with light crispness, lively carbonation, and smooth aftertaste. Good IPA.

Golden pour, nice head. Aroma of fruit and hops. Has a little kick but not overally bitter. Fruit was not in taste like aroma. Not terrible but not great.
