COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

beautiful cloudy orange pour with a small white head that faded extraordinarily quickly. typical ipa citrus nose. smells like cascade. citrus hoppy flavor with a nice hoppy finish. nice full body, however, the best thing about this beer was its appearance; the rest is really pretty run of the mill ipa, in my opinion.

Years ago when this was a seasonal at the brewpub I loved this stuff. As more and more flavorful hop beers have come along and my insatiable appetite for hops moderated to an almost reasonable level I have grown less fond of this beer. It is still one that I enjoy when I’m jonesin’ for hops. You can smell it coming from across the bar. It also has a nice IPA color and appropriate head. Lovely on hand pump. For the most part I find that it is way out of malt/hop balance. Sometimes it’s just the perfect thing, lots of time it’s not.

Aroma is hints of floral, and citrus, especially grapefruit. Pours a hazy dark golden or light amber. Light, white, foamy head which dissipates rather quickly. Taste is of medium hops build, less than your typical IPA, but delicious nonetheless. Runs smooth through the palate with a dry finish. Overall, I would recommend this to those who aren’t quite ready for a full bodied IPA. Not a knock on goose, as this is a great drinking IPA.

BW3, Dayton, draft. Mild aroma. Clear orange-copper. Nice off-white head, good lacing. Crisp, slightly fruity taste. Not at all hoppy. Not at all like an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma was a bit flat, with a little malt, hops and something funky in an off kinda way. Nice pour, good head. Taste malty, roasted and a small amount of bitterness. This beer fell short of an average IPA. Disappointed.

This really does have a fruity aroma to it. Somewhat hoppy, but not that typical IPA taste I’m used to. Somewhat light body, with a fruity taste and a mild bitter/sour finish. Good IPA, but overrated in my opinion.

355ml brown bottle poured into a Dentergems glass of similar volume.Medium white head which dispersed slowly. Some lacing.Yellow gold colour with tiny bubbles.Peach and melon aroma with hops. Like the smell on entering a London high street 24 hour Off-Licence.Ruby grapefruit flavour and nice hops.If Her Majesty's troops in colonial India had IPA like this shipped out to them they would never have left. A lovely at a good price(£1.29 in London)

Aroma:I can smell the hops. Smells nice... Appearance:Medium brown. Nice head somewhat bubbly. Head dissapates quickly... Flavor:Bitter and malty. Not very burnt. Hearty... I like it..... Palate:Thin. Not very carbonated. Not necessarily the best thing about this but it’s alright. Overall: I love it. Very good not a horrible price (had worse beer much more expensive). It’s damn good and I wish the rating would come higher. The palate brings it down in and of itself but it fits well with the general feel of the drink.
