COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Very nicely done (if a bit unadventuresome)...great hop aroma with citrus and floral notes...malty sweetness predominantly in the flavor...and hop bite returning to save the day in the finish. Good all around IPA.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2005 Pours copper with a frothy white head. Aroma is hops and citrus and maybe a little pine. Flavor is a blast of bitterness very much up front and even later in the brew. Strong yet very pleasant. A tasty brew indeed. Yummy!

Bottle acquired in trade with Ughsmash. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of stronger pine with some grapefruit. Tastes of citrus and pine. Has a light sweetness to it in addition to the bitterness.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice clear amber color with little head. Smells of hops, citrus, and pine. Taste of hops that dominate the flavor leaving the malt to clean up in the finish. Very smooth and drinkable and leaves you smacking your lips in the finish from all that hoppy bitterness. The hops are so floral and remind me of Cascade but I’m not sure if that’s what’s inside this wonderful IPA.

Poured a clear amber with a moderate white head. Good lacing. Aroma was citrus fruit with some pine notes. Not as pervasive an aroma as I would like. Light-to-medium malt backbone, with a citrus hoppiness providing much of the flavor (mildly spicy, too). Very smooth mouthfeel, and quite easy to drink. Medium, pleasant hop finish.

Clear red gold amber with a medium sized white head. Citrus and floral hop aromatics. Pleasing bitter and citrus hop flavors complemented by an equally present hop sweetness. Rather malty finish. Mouthfeel is medium light, somewhat sticky.

Pours a light clear amber with a decent off-white bubbly head which dissipates quickly and leaves some lacing. Somewhat citrus nose, decent amount of hops - long finish. Light mouthfeel, refreshing. Nice summer drink.

A little disappointing in the hop department. Has a slightly bitter nose, very biting. The malt is apparent in the aroma. Nice amber coloring, slightly hazy. Flavor is nice and balanced, which is nice for most, though I prefer more hop profile, hence my disappointment. Smooth finish, with a touch of fruit (citrus) at the end. Overall, not my preferred IPA, but I wouldn’t turn it down.

Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish copper, rocky head. Woody and mild spicy hop nose, mild alcohol. Pleasant toffee and resin hop start to the beer and finishes dry with a spicy lingering hop flavor. Some metallic notes in the finish. Medium body, Medium driankability. "Second 6er on the cincy trip."

An amber color. A pine aroma with floral hints. Nicely hopped but not overly bitter. Has a medium body.
