COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

One of the best IPAs around. Not nasty or over the top like some. Very smooth and highly quaffable with BBQ chips.

Green hoppy nose. Lightly toasted malt, a little doughy. Sweet malt, slightly herbal. Floral sweet finish. This is a solid beer.

Clear amber appearance with an average head and good lacing. Hoppy aroma blended some spicyness along with the citrus. Medium-bodied with a decent malt backbone to balance the hops. Dry, bitter finish.

Pours with a light copper hue with good head and lace. Aroma was piney and fruity with some roasted malt and grassy notes. Initially the taste was piney and mildly bitter. In the middle it showed some fruitiness on the edges and a malt presence that I didnít expect. The finish dry and there was a definite bitter hop flavor. Mouthfeel was more or less smooth and a notch or two above what I would call "thin". Probably more of an APA than an IPA, but a good one no matter how you classify it. Thanks DavidP!

Light, clear copper body with a small white head. Aroma is citrus and freshly cut grass. Taste is pleasantly bitter, with oranges and lemons. Good session IPA and a great value.

A very nice, yet mellow ipa. Not huge with the hops but a nice balance. Some subtle earthy undertones also present in the aroma and flavor. Not bad.

Very nicely done (if a bit unadventuresome)...great hop aroma with citrus and floral notes...malty sweetness predominantly in the flavor...and hop bite returning to save the day in the finish. Good all around IPA.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2005 Pours copper with a frothy white head. Aroma is hops and citrus and maybe a little pine. Flavor is a blast of bitterness very much up front and even later in the brew. Strong yet very pleasant. A tasty brew indeed. Yummy!

Bottle acquired in trade with Ughsmash. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of stronger pine with some grapefruit. Tastes of citrus and pine. Has a light sweetness to it in addition to the bitterness.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice clear amber color with little head. Smells of hops, citrus, and pine. Taste of hops that dominate the flavor leaving the malt to clean up in the finish. Very smooth and drinkable and leaves you smacking your lips in the finish from all that hoppy bitterness. The hops are so floral and remind me of Cascade but Iím not sure if thatís whatís inside this wonderful IPA.
