COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottle Pours a yellowish copper with a good white head. The head lasts well and laced okay. Has a good hoppy aroma of citrus, pine, and floral. The carbination is good. Flavor is good hoppy but not over the top. Has an oily texture. The body is light to medium. Not a bad finish and a good aftertaste. Not a super harsh IPA but real drinkable.

355 mL bottle. Clear orange-gold with a small, quickly dissipating, white head. Lotsa citrus hop in the aroma with a little spruce and sweet caramel underneath. Flavour is relatively well balanced. The malt profile is simple and a little "thin," but it makes enough of an impact to prevent this one from being one-dimensional. Hops in the finish, but they don’t linger, which wouldn’t be a terrible thing. Pretty good, though.

This beer pours a dark orange color with a pretty nice sized white head. Lacing around the glass sticks nicely and doesn’t fade to fast. Smell of citrus and hops sticks out. Flavor of hops and malts. Slightly bitter but very good.

Refreshing and easy. Pretty much your typical IPA without standing out but not bad at all. Just a solid well balanced IPA. Decent enough

Bottle - 12oz. Golden/light amber body with average carbonation and a decent white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy hints. Its well balanced hoppy taste carries fruity and some bready notes. Ends with a good bitter finish. Enjoyable IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2011 Nice but simple. The head doesn’t stick around for too long. Relatively light carbonation; a great, hoppy aroma with hints of pineapple; and a reasonably bitter taste that is very accessible for an IPA. Overall, very nice and drinkable. Points off because I was expecting a bit more body.

Golden colour body with white foam. The head quickly decreases but ramain as a thin white lid on top. Sweet and fruty aroma with hops, escpecially of pine. First sip is bitter and quite hoppy and has a clear pine taste. I also detect some roastyness in the mouthfeel. Dry finish. Very drinkable!

On draft for Goose Island night at Rattle & Hum, NYC. Not a standout within the IPA style. Fruit notes in aroma and flavor along with hops.

1. Look – A pale amber color IPA with a big frothy white head. 2. Sniff – It has malty nose with a hoppy citrus aroma. 3. Sip – This medium bodied IPA is somewhat sweet with a mildly bitter taste. It is a very easy drinking IPA. 4. Another Look – This is a good looking ale that has great color and lacing. 5. Evaluate – Overall, this is a representative example of the IPA style. It is tasty ale that has a big malt body and soft bitter finish. I would recommend to my family and friends and those who are starting to try IPA’s.
