Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Lots of flavour, as you would expect from an American IPA. The nose and flavour were quite sweet fruity, and full of lychees and pine. The finish dries out a bit aswell, which definitely makes a bit more bearable. A good beer.

This is good beer, just not great beer. If it weren't for all the truly outstanding IPAs I've had lately, I would probably be excited by this IPA. The aroma is hops, not in huge amounts, but pleasent all the same. Beer pours dark golden with nice thick head. The head is retained throughout and there is heavy lacing. Flavor is good, nice hop bitterness, but it seems to play out a bit too soon. I also think this IPA lacks a true alcohol punch.

12 oz bottle pours a slightly hazy light amber with a decent head and some lace. The aroma was hoppy and slightly malty. The flavor left me wanting more from an IPA, not hoppy enough and an off flavor in the malt backbone that I can't seem to pinpoint. The palate was fine, but the flavor threw me. I won't bother again...

Dark gold color with small head. Bitter hops aroma. Kind of a flowery and bitter taste. It is not so overabundant on hops as to make you sick. A tasty IPA.

Bottle. Poured a medium sized off-white head, fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Malty, hoppy and sweet in the aroma. Flavor was sweet, lightly bitter, and very hoppy. Tingly, hoppy and somewhat dry mouthfeel. Medium bodied.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, with a fine white head. Nose of yeast, fruit and hops. Malty, hoppy flavor, but to watery. could need more spices and hops. This was a dissapointment...

The requisite pine and citrus aroma, leaning towards grapefruit, wafts from this hazy deep golden ale with orange highlights. Flavor is pretty zippy but leans toward the overt bitterness with citrus skin harshness covering up some moderate fruit, a little fuzzy with pine resin burps. Not my fave IPA but drinkable.

From the bottle.

This one pours a surprisingly light golden with a moderate though short-lived head. The aroma is a picnic of marmalade on whole-grain toast in a pine woods. While the flavor is pleasant enough (if not particularly intense in either its hop or malt profiles), the palate is a bit disapppointing - watery, and overly carbonated. The finish is of dry, slightly metallic, cut-hay hops.
