COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

From the bottle. Cloudy golden pour with fine head. Sour citrus with floral hints. Long bitter finish. High carbonation, perhaps a little too gassy. Not a session beer but overall very nice.

12oz bottle, after reading these ratings, I was excited to try this brew. After drinking it, I can’t see how hop heads could be satisfied with this one. Overall, decent brew, average IPA at best, clean, crisp, drinkable, but not very hoppy. A good start, but not quite there yet.

Bottle 355ml, a copper beer with huge creamy head. Nose is very intense on aromatic hops, exotic fruit, lichee, pine, seems very sweet. Aroma is on honey, resin, slightly metallic, fresh oranges, low body, melon, less malty, relatively low bitterness.

Bottle from ACME Hudson. Pours light orange with an inch of white foam that leaves little lacing. Slight fruity hops on the nose. A bit pungent on the tongue with a hint of malt. Lingers a bit on the finish. Solid.

Nice thick rocky head with surging attack of surging beading. Some juicy slightly sweet bitterness with some gingfery peppery elements too. A fairly decent middle of the road IPA.

On draft at teh Brass Tap, poured a golden yellow color aromas of light pine, grapefruit, some grain and light resin. Flavors follow suit, litght bitter after taste.

Comes out of the growler a nice clear amber with a very thick and somewhat persistent pale amber-wheat head. Strongly hoppy aroma has an undertone of fresh hay. Flavor has a malty core and hoppy and hay components, just a hint of citrus. Smooth texture has average body and lacks fizz. OK, not the best IPA I have ever had, but give it a try.

Pours light amber with white head on tap. Hoppy and fruity aroma. Not very hoppy taste but smooth overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a somewhat clear spectrum of oranges and yellows. Thick rocky off white head earthy hop aromas with sone faint citrus notes. Dense carbonation and a quenching palate.

Bottle from Sainsburys; clear amber pour with white head, tropical hop aroma, on par bitterness, hint of grapefruit not massively hoppy but I always think the shelf life of this American IPA’s in supermarkets is questionably long. Probably would be better fresher.
