Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a nice golden amber color with an off-white creamy head. Highly carbonated very nice hop aroma. Seems like bodied with a small amount of caramel sweetness. Very very very drinkable beer like it a lot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at The Grove in Winnipeg. Piney aroma. This was delicious and very quaffable considering the IBUs. Lively palate. One of my favourite IPAs. Glad to see this in Winnipeg.

Great taste, and not too hoppy but just right. It’s a very smooth tasting IPA.

Bottle, at O’Hare brewery pub. Wonderful aroma of sweet grapes, pine, grapefruit and passionfruit. The beer pours light copper, just too translucent, with a beautiful creamy white head. The flavour includes all that fruit basket mentioned above - with that pine resin sticking to the palate - over a honey/malt/biscuit base. Very well-balanced, this is a beer to have at home. I am thrilled that NZ suppliers of craft beer have this one on stock now. Although it has been criticised, I love the presentation/label. The naivity of that near nursery rhymes goose is brilliant, when the original name for the river island was likely based on Canada Geese.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours golden with a white head. Taste citrus, sweet, pine. I thought was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml. bottle @ home. Bottled on 03/01/2015 – BBF 03/01/2016. I still cannot believe that I actually bought this in a supermarket (albeit an NL owned one) in Belgium. Hopefully this is one step closer to my dream of buying BCBS in the supermarket. Clear sparkling amber, creamy white head. Nose is oily USA style pine resin hops with a thicker than usual caramel malts, malts overpower the hops a bit. Taste is oily bitter pine resin hops, plenty of caramel malts, oily mixed with still with very American pine resin hops, light floral, flowers, oily tea, lots of oily tea pine resin tea & chamomile grapefruit peel, bitter very oily bark finish,… Oily med. carbonation body. Overall -> I have heard a lot of people say bad things about this beer & I have really no idea as to why? This beer is exactly what it promises on the label and English-Style IPA with USA hops. Nothing spectacular but as an everyday easy drinking beer this is really nice stuff. I really enjoyed, I really do not understand the people hating on this.

Piwo prosto ze Stanów ;) Dość jasny, złoty kolor i bardzo ładna, biała, puszysta piana. Koronka na szkle wręcz wzorowa. Piwo wygrywało kilka razy w amerykańskich konkursach w kategorii English IPA. Aromat świeży, słodowy, chmielowy. W smaku przyjemne cytrusy, specyficzna goryczka, trudna od opisania, bo z jednej strony intensywna, z drugiej pozostawia lekki, aksamitny posmak w ustach. Ogólnie wytrawne, z lekką słodyczą w tle. Średnie, w kierunku niskiego wysycenie sprawia, że Goose IPA jest ekstremalnie pijalne. Baaardzo fajne piwo!

From 12oz bottle. Intense smell of hops as soon as bottle is opened. Pours golden-yellow to orange with thick white head. Good retention. Hoppy, citrus aroma with slightly bitter end. Very good IPA.
