COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours medium amber with a full off-white head. Nice lacing is left on the glass as it is drank. Floral hops and spice dominate the aroma. Nice, full, creamy mouthfeel leads to a perfect example of how an IPA should taste. Hops, caramel, pine, and more hops. Finishes slightly bitter, which is no surprise. A great beer at a great price.

Dark amber verging on copper. One finger of bright white head. Minimal lacing. Fairly filtered. On the nose it is a blending of citrus and pine. More of that on the palate, with some light malt in the mix. All fairly bitter. A little bit of grassiness in there too. I’d buy and drink this again.

Clear golden with a good amount of foam. Tropical fruit, citrus, and piney aroma. Body was pretty light for the bitterness but enjoyable.

Une bonne IPA bien amère. Pas grand chose de plus à dire. C’est sympathique.

35.5 cL bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty nice with hops, fruitiness, tropical fruits, some citrus. Taste is slightly sweet and fruity with a decent malt body and a medium bitter finish. Pretty crisp. Medium body and carbo. Nice IPA and available in my local supermarket.

Lekkere hoppige IPA met een fruitige twist. Smaakt goed maar valt meer in categorie standaard IPA, niets speciaals.

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus fruit with some pine and a little bready malt sweet smell. Taste is very well balanced. Moderate clean bitterness throughout with a nice mild sweet malt backbone. Citrus, caramel, pine, biscuits, grass flavors. Very solid IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pint. Muted aroma. Sort of funky hops. Medium body sort of hoppy but has a fast flavour profile and is rather forgetful as an IPA.

Golden with a generous head. Smells very wheaty and sour with gooseberry. Taste is acrid pine and earwax bitter. It’s all wheat and little else. I love bitter bitter beers but for some reason I find this really challenging (read as unpleasant) and have had before so not a dud. For me the bottle should say wheat beer, nothing like the English IPA promised.

Pours a clear light orange with a nice white head. Head retention is ok. Aroma: Not much on the aroma but some slight citrus, light hop bitterness, faint peppercorns and light malt. Taste: Very light on taste as well. Hop bitterness is more pronounced, citrus is mellow, very light peppercorns, faint tropical fruit and malt. Finishing with a crisp, slightly dry, feel in the mouth. Overall I was somewhat disappointed. I was expecting a very aromatic, fruity, bitter and spice filled beer. However, I am comparing this to the West Coast IPA?s and I think that is a bit unfair. Reading the label I see that the alcohol and IBU?s are not as high as the West Coast style. I believe they only used one style of hops and that is what might causes the lack of aroma and flavor. Considering all this, I do believe this is a good IPA. Sure it won?t destroy your palate but it is a great everyday go-to brew. Cheers! Kanpai! Salud! Prost!
