Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

The aroma is not pronounced as many of its fellow IPA’s tend to have, but it does have a bit of resiny hops, floral esters, and some alcohol and very faint caramel. The appearance is a clean yellow-caramel with a thin white head, that creates a nice lacing down the glass. The taste is a nice balance of caramel, bread, resiny hops, and some alcohol. The palate for an IPA is super smooth. It maintains a medium body, with a thin, semi-oily texture, with a bit of a fizzy carbonation, and a long minor burn from the hops. It is a very good brew, could easily become my favorite "session" IPA. The major disappointment is that it’s not available in our state. Hopefully, that changes.

Pour from bottle turns incredibly flat quickly, no head. Light brown in color. Tastes like a generic IPA, kinda weak on the hops. Is a good starter IPA but flavor overall is lacking complexity. Not the best IPA that goose island has to offer

On tap at BierMarkt Montreal. Aroma: peaches, citrus, orange zest, spices. App: clear copper with medium white head and some lacing. Taste and palate: medium creamy body, clean, light medium dry bitter finish. Overall: a great beer on tap. Love the peaches attack. Would like it to be more piney and less clean but overall this is really a good surprise.

This beer costs over $8. It has a lighter IPA taste to it. This is worth going Goose Island Brewery when in O'Hare to enjoy the beer.
