COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

The aroma is not pronounced as many of its fellow IPA’s tend to have, but it does have a bit of resiny hops, floral esters, and some alcohol and very faint caramel. The appearance is a clean yellow-caramel with a thin white head, that creates a nice lacing down the glass. The taste is a nice balance of caramel, bread, resiny hops, and some alcohol. The palate for an IPA is super smooth. It maintains a medium body, with a thin, semi-oily texture, with a bit of a fizzy carbonation, and a long minor burn from the hops. It is a very good brew, could easily become my favorite "session" IPA. The major disappointment is that it’s not available in our state. Hopefully, that changes.

Draft. Copper color with thick white head and substantial lacing. Citrus hop aroma. Hops upfront with malty biscuit in the middle. Subtle bitterness along with melt in the long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had on tap at Buffalo Wild Wings. A dirty gold color that’s pretty pale with a white sticky head. Not much nose. Some mild floral hops. Decent flavors and pretty drinkable. Better than I thought it would be. I guess I was expecting a Honkers.

Draft. Honey-hued with perfect clarity and a small, soapy gray head. Smooth floral aroma: a little rose and lilac alongside pine, honey and lemon peel. The flavor follows this format, displaying well-integrated floral hop notes with moderate bitterness and a soft caramel malt character that carries into a very balanced finish. Carbonation is a little high, but other than that this is a solid English-style IPA geared toward drinkability rather than in-your-face hop character.

On tap at Spokane airport. Can’t believe the high ratings, kind of weak, even for an East Coast IPA. Looks like a lager, hops offer a bitterness reminiscent of a German pilsener, alright, but inappropriate for the style. Was expecting better.
