Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a nice clear orange with medium white head, decent lacing. Aroma mostly of citrus hops, slight floral, and some light fruity notes. Flavor matches well and leaves a nice hop bitterness behind. Slightly slick mouthfeel, but a nice IPA anyway.

Világos réz színe telt, gazdag illatokat rejt, természetesen az aromakomlók alkotta gyantás, cukrozott, aszalt trópusi gyümölcsös koordináta-rendszer mentén, belekóstolva pedig önkéntelenül is elmormol egy imát az ember: "bárcsak nálunk is efféle lenne az alapsör". Mély, komplex ízek, melyek ugyan távoli rokonságot mutatnak egy bizonyos világos duplabakoknál megfigyelt ízvilággal, amiben a malátás édesség vastag kontúrvonalai képviselik a fő irányvonalat, egy efféle IPA esetében azonban azok mintegy kedves bevezetésként szolgálnak a grapefruitos, szegfűs kesernye helyreigazító jellegéhez.

Bottle from Sainsburys Team Valley. A fantastic IPA. Delicate floral and fruity flavour, but still full bodied and satisfying

"Spicy hops seem to be English leaning though there’s some fruit and citrus as well in the flavor. This is a solid classic India pale ale. Enjoyed though not a standout, one I’d use to introduce a newb to the style."

Pours a orangey golden color topped with an average white head. Mild citrusy hops in the aroma, nice. The taste starts more neutral, followed by an average bitterness and some caramel. Bittery finish and aftertaste.

Bottle from beermerchants.com. Aroma has some subtle hops and is bit sweet together with some fruits. Pours dark orange with a rich white head. Taste is very hoppy and has taste of fruits, citrus and grape fruit. Palate has a fresh zing and a sweet feeling. Overall a surprisingly fresh beer.

Goose Island India Pale Ale is a pleasant and tasty IPA. Amber coloring with a decent head giving off floral aroma. Taste is floral and tropical with a low bitter finish. Nicely balanced with the malt. Goose Island IPA is everything it is quacked up to be.

Pours a bright, gleaming orange color, with a big, creamy head that clings to the glass. The aroma isn’t overly skewed to the hoppy characteristics, with notes of citrus peel and pine contrasting against light bready malts. The flavor is a bit dull and earthy, although there is some bright pine character and a light bready sweetness at its base. The light, fine carbonation is nice, but there isn’t as much lingering bitterness as I expected. Overall, this is a solid but unremarkable IPA that I will gladly drink up but won’t seek out.

nose: earth, forest, apple trees. palate: light, sweet, fresh. lots of tree fruit, white currant and peach acidity. woody bitterness on the back end. finish is very floral and drying, with a waxiness on the tongue. nice everyday drinker if you want an ipa that doesnt slay your tastebuds
