4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled at some pub in Glasgow, UK. Hazy golden colored, white head. Very pleasant hoppy nose, lots of fruit, pine. Hopbitter flavor, fruity notes again, very balanced. Lasting hoppy finish. Very complex yet easy to drink beer, exactly how i like my IPA. A beer i could drink all evening (and so i did...).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Forge. Appearance: small white head, good lacing, amber-golden color, clear. Aroma: heavy hops, light malt, citrus, grassy, floral, bread. Palate: medium body, slightly oily and coating texture, lively carbonation. Taste: amazingly well balanced after the mostly hoppy aroma, heavy malt sensation up front, slowly transitioning to a smooth hoppy finish, lasting. Overall I was very impressed with how well balanced this beer is. Not too many IPA’s in my experience are this capable of making it well balanced without detracting from the fact that it is an IPA.

On tap at Manito tap house
Golden with etched whites and brilliant clarity. Nose is softly tea like with some hints of resin. Flavor is malty and light with just a hint of sweetness and a good counter balance of bitterness. Nice profile. Medium on thin with a hi carb and semi dry finish. Decent beer.
Serving type: on-tap

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
FROM NOTES: November 22, ’13.
A: A simple nose of citrus and pine hop aromas with light notes of Kiwi or other tropical fruit.
A: Clear orange color with a one-finger head.
T: Somewhat more subtle and watery than the nose suggests. The flavors are not as strong as I would have expected but it does have a nice pine and resin aftertaste, as you would want in an IPA.
P: Light in body with a mildly dry texture and a soft carbonation.
O: A decent IPA, but not quite bitter enough for an IPA but still tasty.
