0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours an attractive reddish brown with an immediately dissipating head. Aroma of urinal cake, piss and fruit; mainly urinal cake. Tastes of soured box wine. This was a singularly horrid experience.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Notes of Brett, barnyard, and wood rise from a cloudy ruby grapefruit pour which produces a thin none-lasting off-white head and no lacing. The taste is very tart. Brett, sour dark fruit, tannins, wood, with hints of pepper/spice. A rewarding meld of flavors with a long lasting sour/tart aftertaste. Light body and crisp carbonatin. Crisp, tart mouthfeel. Overall, this beer is a winner. Well crafted, complex, and exceedingly enjoyable.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Sour fruit aroma, and reddish brown cloudy color. Has a wonderful berry sour flavor with a lot of fizz, and a cabernet long finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A solid beautiful sour. A non sweet wild ale, with a great punch. RRBC still wins, but buy this over Lolita, also Goose Island.

Odd orange color, with little carb. Great wild smell. Similar taste with nice finish, a bit soft in finish. Excellent.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hey it tastes great. Is it amazing? No! Very sour. Very nice aroma. Light orange pink color. No head. Sharp new oak wood barrel notes. Vinous! Mostly just straight up sour beer.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/11/2010. Pours lightly cloudy red-orange color with a 1-2 finger foamy off white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big tart blackberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, oak, clove, red wine vinegar, hay, straw, pepper, musty brett funk, leather, rye, toast, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance of tart fruit, fruity/funky brett, malt, and barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of tart blackberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, oak, clove, red wine vinegar, hay, straw, pepper, musty brett funk, leather, rye, toast, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of fruity acidic tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart blackberry, raspberry, green apple, red grape, oak, clove, red wine vinegar, hay, straw, musty funk, rye, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity and balance of tart fruits, wine barrel, and big fruity/funky brett presence; with a great malt/acidity balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is an incredible fruited sour ale with 3 years of age. Big brett presence with great balance of wine barrel and blackberry fruit flavors; and very smooth to sip on with the balanced acidity. A highly enjoyable offering.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful color, like a rose champagne. Crisp white wine and fruit. Lemon and green apple in the nose. I liked this beer by itself. I liked it more while sucking on a pineapple dum-dum lollipop.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2014 A - pours light pinky/purple apple juice with 1 finger head that fizzed out quickly. S - wow! Didn’t I say that for Gillian? Aromas of tart berries, cherry pie, lacto, musty oak. Sweet like a berry pie and lemony lacto sour. Yum. M - light medium body. Full palate. So complex. Oaky butteriness, lacto/lemon tartness, sweet dessertiness, fruit juice. End is lingering sweet fruit juice. T - complexity is the word. Starts as sweet lemony blackberry pie, crust n all, some buttery oakiness. Palate is a sweet blackberry-canned pineapple juice. Oaky and a nice funk join in. The lacto sourness is nicely subdued and fits well with the beer. Not agro. O - well shit. Goose island is continuing to kick ass, nay, has improved since InBev bought them. So many great sours distributed more. All their classics still good and so much more available, and bcs. Mmm. But I digress. Juliet is damn good. As was Gillian, halia, Juliet. I’m psyched I can get them in Cali. 4.1
