Bottle shared by Adamn...thanks so much! Reddish/orange pour wtih a a light head. Tons of fruit up front with funky tartness and earth tones. Vinous notes are evident in the nose and on the tongue. Fruity but sour. But not crazy sour. Dry and rather good. Thanks adam!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2012 Bottle… October ‘09 O-Town Throwdown!… This beer rocks!... Hazy orange ale with a pink slant and a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is fruity, earthy and both acidic and acetic with additional notes of berries, vanilla, biscuit and woody funk. Medium-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and relaxed carbonation. Sour, fruity flavor with a strong suggestion of wood and a subtle afterthought of rye. Sour, tart, and then dry finish. Kudos to SoLan for sharing this bottle of world class beer!

My birthday treat from Peensteen, and it did not disapoint. Great pink foamy look, great aromas of berries, cherry, raspberry. Large retained head. Well malted sour that enticed the palate. Tart, berry, great drinkability.

651mL. The pour is a heavily carbonated clear jewel pink/dark orange with a larger pink head with soda retention and acid cutting. Nose is big acetic acid/pickle with small raspberry seed, more pickle, sour raspberry juice. Taste at first is massive spritzy carbonation, lemon, mild paper, not too much acetic heat, tons of dough, and big tartaric acid like sour warheads. Mouthwatering...fairly intense.

Tap at Blind Tiger Alehouse. Deep pink-red beer with a thin head. Aroma is awesome. Rich tart sourness, lots of ripe berryish fruit and a lovely soft lactic sourness along with a kiss of spiciness. A big shot of oaky flavour over the top. Softly tart with a good interplay of fruit, bright acidity and nice spiciness. Lingering tart finish. Really an incredible brew. Greatly balanced and well-integrated. Man, these guys are making killer stuff.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Clear pinkish-orange color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing. Aroma of berries, oak and spice. Medium body with flavors of tart berries, vinous oak and herbal yeast. The finish is tart and fruity with a berry and oak aftertaste. Good beer all around.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
My Bottom Line :
This brazenly sour ale shares plenty of blackberry fruitiness which take on cranberry angles before splashing powerful citric notes onto the palate.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam tops the hazy, dull pinkish red.
-The soft carbonation makes the acidity feel even more prominent.
-Complexity isn’t as high as it usually is in this type of beer, but enjoyment levels compensate.
-Drinkability is low, but flavor levels are high, so it all works out quite well in the end. ;)

Bottle over X-mas break 2013. Poured effervescent dark straw with white head. Nose was white wine grapes, oaky, lactose. Tasted tart, with definite chardonnay overtones, some oaky tartness, and a fruity finish.
