Poured a light cloudy gold color with aromas of light fruit, yeast, pepper, and some hay. Flavors matched the aromas but had a drying affect on the palate. Glad I got to try this one off beer.

Draft at the goose island brew pub in Claiborne . Light looking color. Comes off as a triple but has that saki take to it. Very interesting

Visited Goose Island at Clybourn and got a tasting flight. Tasting notes include: very unique, unfamiliar with sake flavors, unique aroma, hint of banana, alcohol flavor shines through, hint of warmth

Nose is lemon, saison and spice, some apple. Flavour is Belgian spices, some rice nice and dry. With a little of a prickly mouthfeel ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Track 84 Warwick, Lightly hazy yellow color. Spice, alcohol, rice, light bread and lemon. Really odd beer, not sure I’d have it again.

Tap at Mason Lounge. Hazy yellow tan body, unfiltered. Nice steady off-white head. Unfamiliar buttersctoch, woody, sake aroma. Sweet sugary notes. Kind of like a candied Saison. Candy banana, vanilla oak. Super sweet, very unique. Incorporates some really nice sake notes while remaining drinkable and centered. Vanilla liqueur notes. Cool beer, exceeded my expectations.

Draft at Olympic tavern. From notes. Clove, Belgian yeast and a hint of citrus. Not really like any other saison I’ve had but good nonetheless.
