AmEricanbrew (924), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA May 13, 2008 Clear amber with a bit of foam. Subtle smell is yeasty bready malts and light purfumy hops. Smooth medium body. Good light caramel and toasted malt taste up front with a nicely bitter finish. Very easy drinking session brew here.
Spab (52), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange/gold with small off white head. Aroma of sweet maltiness and faint (floral?) hoppiness. Similar notes in the taste. Slightly bitter finish. Fine carbonation. BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 23, 2008 Bottle: Copper color, lightly shiney with a light sticky head and some lacing. The nose is lightly hoppy with a faint toast and sweet orange note. The flavor lacks body and bitterness but that sweet caramel and faint grassy note are still present. Doesn’t seem hoppy in the tail though, very sweet and caramelly with a thin base malt. Clean finish for sure, but nothing close to what I’d call crisp. ghawener (679), San Salvador, El Salvador Aug 14, 2008 Bottle: Nothing waht I would expect from an APA; malty caramel, hints of hops all very well balanced. Finish is dry and sweet. Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 8, 2008 Hazy coppery orange with fluffy white head and ample lacing. Subdued fruity nose with some graininess. Soft mouthfeel. Sweet but tolerable and not icky. Simple, sweet malts and some hop in the aftertaste, so fairly balanced beer at a really good price point. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2008 Slightly hazy orangey-tan colour. The aroma is faint - kind of toasty, caramelly. Low bitterness. Clean, simple and approachable. Subtle toast and wood. Drinkable, but unlikely to inspire.
