COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You might think this is a Russian style girly beer (a little Nabokov for you), but instead it is a very sophisticated Raspberry Belgian Ale. Fermented with brettanomyces (the little guys who give us that tart zing) and fresh raspberries, this brew is bright yet deep with spices and edges of the fruits natural tart quality to give it a white wine kind of finish.

Hazy reddish, burnt orange pour. Lots of seedy raspberry, earthy floral notes, cereal, and some tart funk. Flavor is Tart and earthy funk up front, fruity and planty notes and sweet and tart raspberries. Light, dry body, with a light, spritzy, sharp carbonation. Fantastic sour, tart, fruity and dry, perfectly refreshing and deeply entertaining.

Pours amber. Aroma sweet raspberry. Very sour & pretty sweet raspberry with some oak barrel in there. This is a pretty fantastic sour, raspberrys are my favorite and this plays to all their strengths. It tastes like 7% ABV sour candy. Whats not to like.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy ruby orange with paperthin white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is raspberry, funk and brett. Thin mouthfeel with light rasberry flavor and nice tart finish. A very impressive sour from Goose Island.

Bottle scored by Jstax Thanks ! Pours a ruby amber color with a trace of bubbles that settle quickly. The nose is funky raspberry right up front with wet wood and barnyard touches. The palate follows the nose with more complexity coming through in the mid to late palate... nutmeg, vanilla, unripe raspberry and vinous barrel notes linger with notes of chardonnay grapes.

Medium copper, thin white head. Aroma of toasty malt, light sour cherries, raspberry. Flavor of bready and toasty malt, a little caramel, moderately tart cherries, raspberries, a little earthy spiciness and pepper-like heat late.
