3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma smells sparkling, reminds me of a sparking wine. Some bitter raspberries, yeast, fruity. Pours a little red/orange/brown/pink, but settles into a deep red.
Tastes sour, bitter, raspberry, fruity, alcohol. First sip was a little shocking, but following sips were very smooth.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very hazy reddish/orange with almost no head (just a few white bubbles). Aroma is suuuper tart, fairly acidic sourness, a good bit of raspberry, nice bretty funk going on, and a touch of oak. Really nice meld of flavors on the taste, strong notes of both oak from the wine barrels and a nice somewhat sweet raspberry taste, the sourness is a little toned down in the flavor, kind of a balsamic acidity, a nice spiciness I can’t place, and a hint of a nice musky note from the barrels. I really enjoy this. Not too often I drink a well made framboise style sour, especially one with such nice barrel characteristics. I was worried from the nose that this was going to be suuuuper sour, but it wasn’t quite that bad and the barrel does a good job adding more depth.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. It's a sweet tart. The Brett is not as prevalent in its typical bathroom form. I love raspberry so it's solid on that front.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap at Ridgewood (Raleigh).
Raspberry red with no head. Raspberry aroma. Sour raspberry taste.
For those who like sours or fruity beer - enjoy. Sadly, I am not a fruity not sour beer fan.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the barrel-aged tasting at World Of Beer-Cherry Creek in Denver, CO during GABF week. Copper-colored pour with a very short head. Aroma of tart fruit and oak. Great flavor of tart fruit that is not distinct as raspberry. White wine characteristics are also detected. Lingering sourness on the palate. Well done, of course.

Pouring at NotF in Boston. Pours a hazed ruby tinged amber with a thin white head. Huge strawberries on the nose, soft musk, funk, light acid. Medium-bodied, soft strawberries, long musk, gentle acid. Lovely strawberry jam.

Bottle 65 cl, bottled on 11/12/11. Clear reddish amber in color. Strong raspberry notes in aroma at first. Tart raspberries in taste, but also some nice wooden oaky notes, almost like sweet vanilla kind of ones here. Nice vanilla in aftertaste as well.
