Lolita is a pink rose colored Belgian style pale ale fermented with wild yeast and aged on raspberries in wine barrels. Aromas of fresh raspberries, bright jammy fruit flavors and crisp, refreshing body make Lolita ideal for beer drinkers fond of Belgian Framboise.

Aroma: an immediate rush of fruit and tartness, lots of raspberry, nice funky Brett complexity - earthy, leaves, leather, good stuff. Appearance: mostly clear, pours red, white-faintly pink head subsides quickly. Taste: a good level of acidity - not puckering but certainly moving in that direction. Lots of raspberry notes, lactic acid, and after 2 years in the bottle, a fair amount of funk. Leather and leaves, a bit of mustiness, complex and very interesting. Alcohol is well hidden, finish is refreshing and dry. Palate: light-medium body, medium carbonation, bone dry. Overall: really great brew, quite sour and complex.

Bottle. Beautiful. Tart, sour. Vinegar. Sharp raspberries. Everything I want with some fruity twist.

Wow. This was super pucker inducing. Some berry notes tucked in underneath but you have to wait for them to emerge from the tart first. Pours slightly red and you get that sour in the aroma.

22oz bottle, shared by caterwaul. Bottled 11/12/11. Mostly hazy orange red color. Minimal off-white / khaki head, fades to nothing, no lace. Awesome big oaky tart raspberry nose. Medium to bigger body. Lighter, kind of soft carbonation, with a tingly texture. Dry finish. Very tart taste, pretty sour, just short of puckering, very tasty. Awesome, super tasty raspberry sour ale. No hint of alcohol.

The appearance of this beer has an amber and orange color to it. The beer had sour notes with it and I really enjoyed it. The beer was a little fizzy but this is typical of most sours and it’s something I enjoy about the style. Overall I would love to have this beer again as it is so good.

Pours a reddish orange with a light haze to the beer. Tart dry aroma. Crisp flavors with a little dirty oranges and grapefruit. Tasty stuff not too acidic. 8/4/8/4/15

Bottle pour into a flute for this brew. 2011 vintage. Won the right to buy this at a cellar raffle. I like the fruity tartness.

65 cl bottle vintage 2011 @ lusikka, bottled 12.11.2011
Aroma is sweet and sour with oaky notes, sour cherries and some rosehip. Flavour is tart and somewhat sour with raspberry juice, some rosehip and hints of spices. Also some salty licorice(!) at the end of the glass. Nice.

650 ml bottle.
Pours a beautiful ruby red orange colour without a head. Aroma of strong rose hip, caramel, honey and raspberries. Flavour of raspberries, tart apricot, honey, rose hip, malts and grass. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a dry, tart, fruity finish. Very tasty and pleasant.
