From the 12/2013 3R6P gathering +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart, sour, dryish and chalky with a spritzy note of Pez and Sweettart candies. The flavor was very tart, sour and dry with chalk, Sweettart candied and a spritzy and effervescent presend.e Very long finish. Medium body. Solid.

22oz bomber I got in a trade, thanks Devin! Aroma is sour cherries and oak. Flavors are sour cherries, oak, and a real nice funk. Super balanced sour, very tart in the nose and upfront in the mouth, goes down very smooth though. Another great goose island sour!

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Smells like a nice, cherry-infused oude bruin. Physically biting sensation (carb?) during each sip is offputting. Doesn't meet my palate amicably. Not a big fan of the OB style.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this a few times, finally gonna write this up.
Cherry graham with just a rim of foam. Smells like cherries, some lemons, some oak and a little cabernet character. Taste is tart with cherries, some nice alcohol burn, a little bitterness and a little vinegar. Thin with sharp carb and a wet finish. Nice. It is not overly complex, very clean and approachable sour.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark orangey amber pour. Funky savory cherry notes, vinegar. Flavor has brown sugar and malt vinegar, dark cherries and apple. Gets oaky toward the end. Too far on the acetic side of the spectrum for me.
