Chef Collaboration Series. Brewed with Top Chef Masters Chef Rick Bayless of Frontera Grill. A Belgian Style Golden Ale. The beer is brewed with Citra and Crystal hops then fermeneted with our house Belgian Ale yeast strain. Spices are added during fermentation including green tea, green coriander, orange, grapefruit, and lime peel.

On tap at itap Soulard during stlcbw. This was hazy golden and had a decent white head. Belgian yeast is so nice here and a bit of spice is tasted. Pale malts, wheat, and citrus all combine to make a delightful summer beer. Bitterness was almost nonexistant.

Draft served in one of those Goose Island logo wine glasses at the iTap-Soulard Goose Island Stout Invasion. I guess it’s a beer glass, but whatever. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. The aroma is really dusty and dry, with notes of pale and bready malts, mild spice, coriander, citrus peel, and green tea. The flavor amps it up a little bit in all of those notes- really herbal, fresh, and crisp. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation. I liked the taste of this a lot.

Enjoyed on-tap @ Citizen Bar in Chicago, IL for $9.50. Tapped from the Black/Silver Goose Island Tap Handle into a 16oz Pint Glass. Ordered two back to back because of the availability of this brew! May never see this hit the St. Louis area. Aroma- The aroma is very potent with tons of orange, zest, and hop. Malt is introduced towards the end of the smell and is musky and almost Belgian like. Fantastic! Appearance- Received with a 1 finger head that has good retention. The body color is a deep copper color and is semi-hazy. Leaves tons of lacing behind. Flavor- Very spicy and fruity from the start. Orange peel and sweet hops come in towards the middle of the drink. Medium-High Bitterness. Mouthfeel- Medium-Full Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Light alcohol warming and has a good amount of spice once again. Overall Impression- A nice "limited" brew from Goose Island! I’m not sure if I would order more then 2 of these because of the price... Well worth it though and suggest anyone who has the chance to enjoy this. Very complexed all around.

Lucky for me I had a layover in Chicago and had this on tap at Frontera. It was a flavor explosion in a very smooth light bodied ale. Ale kinds of tropical fruit and nuance. Complex yet very drinkable!

On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a golden-yellow color with a big white head and some lacing on the way down. The nose carries some mild spice and citrus peel. Very light hop notes in the background. Flavor has spice and light malt plus some citrus and fruit. Body is light-medium with high carbonation. Pretty good, though nothing stands out all that much.

Well holy shit, not only can I get this beer at O’Hare, but it’s also served a Frontera where the prices don’t seem to be airport-mark up ridiculous. Poured into a Goose Island goblet. Pours golden with an orange tint. Barely a ring of white head. Nose of Belgian yeast, coriander, some gentle green tea notes. Taste adds a bit of sweetness and a somewhat dry finish. Solid, especially with Mexican fare.

Tap at Fizz in Chicago. It’s foggy yellow and the foamy top gives off a sweet aroma. This is one of the better beers I’ve had from Goose Island. It’s herbal, veggie-like, and really spicy. The spice levels toe the line to the point that they’re nearly too strong, nearly artificial. I liked it though. It’s like a summer version of a holiday spice beer - cooler, lighter, and more refreshing than a holiday spice, but still loaded with flavor.

Golden color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty fruity, with some pie crust and orange peel. The flavor is similar, and adds a lot of spices. The finish is very dry. Really refreshing and very tasty.

Pours a brownish golden color with a large creamy off white head. Notes of citrus rind, herbs, spices, and candi sugar. Creamy mouthfeel and medium length finish. Almost like a belgian meets IPA. Interesting.
