From the tap this poured a clear reddish-brown body qith a creamy beige head. It had an aroma of caramel covered nuts, toast, a light floral hopping, and butterscotch. That last note was a distraction to both the nose and the taste. Hops seemed to vanish completely from the flavor. Disappointing.

Draft at GI Clybourn. Poured a clear dark brown color. Head was light tan. Aroma was of light caramel and toffee. Sweet and medium bodied. I tasted toasted bread, light grassy hops, toffee, and some occasional graham cracker. There was also a nutty/earthy element. Pretty good.

On tap at Goose - Clybourn. Poured clear medium reddish-brown with a short, creamy off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter toasty caramel and nutty notes with underlying medium-or-a-hair-darker fruits.. light leafy bitterness.. very well balanced. The flavor found sweet, lightly-smoked toffee and caramel with sticky herbal bitterness and a dry, leafy and caramelly finish. Medium-bodied with lower carbonation and very nice balance.. toasty, sweet, and a little warm. I could drink a lot of this.
