Sweet malty aroma with hints of fruit and a distinct yeastiness. In the mouth the warmth of the alcohol allied with a lingering bitterness and the fruity taste made this a most acceptable beer, very much in the Belgium style. Apple pear peach banana aroma, lovely. Heavily carbonated fruity dry hops bitterness with a dusty note. Long bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is there but hardly notice. What a nice surprise. The pour is sparkling and tataly clear deep orange. The head was lightly orange but fades very quick leaving only a shade on the surface. The nose is malty and with dark notes of fruits, yeasts and pineapple. You can easely tell the belgian inspiration by the nose. The taste is realy good but with a bit harch an anonymous finish. The palate is medium to lightly creamy. The taste has some raisins and maltflavours, I also taste some tropical fruits like starfruit (is it called that in english) and pineapple and some orange-peel. Lots of tasty yeast, coupled with sugars and belgian spices, similair to La Fin Du Monde. Soft and silky mouthfeel makes this very sessionable. Far less aggressive than Pere Jacques, which I sampled before this but equally well crafted 3.95 thewolf (5722), Kolding, Denmark

Pours hazy golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has oranges, bready malts, some biscuit, green apples. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly orangey tart, lots of biscuit malts, some hoppy, fruity dryness. Long, lingering, slightly hoppy aftertaste. Fine.
