Pours with an amber color and a nice large head with ncie lacing and good retention. Immediately noticeable are aomas of hops, pine and some breadiness. Flavors of Blegina yeast and dough with a pronounced malt and hops background. Some spiicness and cloves as well. Very smooth and full bodied.

Clear deep gold pour with a short-lived, 1 finger, off-white head. Lots of floral, spicy, citrusy hop aroma with candi-sugar, pear and bubblegum notes. Flavor is melon, candi-sugar, orange, spice, and bubblegum. Somewhat thin mouth feel with moderate carbonation.

Drank from a bottle, poured an orange color with a medium head. Smelled of citrus mostly. Tasted mostly of citrus and a little bit of caramel. Aftertaste lasted for a long time, pretty solid beer, but had a little too many flavors going on at once for my liking. Somehow found a way to be too complex for me to love.

300 ml bottle. 2007 edition found in Chicago. Pours a beautiful dark orange/amber with a a rather large off-white head with great retention. Aromas of orange peel, yeast, cloves, red licorice, and maybe pineapple- very complex. Taste adds some slight spicy hops, caramel malt, and retains the citrus and spicy elements. Long, dry, malty aftertaste. Truly superb.

Pours hazy honey amber with a 2 finger light beige head, very good retention. Aroma is yeast, citrus, licorice, plenty of spicy and citrus hops and a generally fruity tone. Flavor is much the same as aroma, though yeast tone is less prevailant and citrus notes with citrus and spicy notes take over. FInish is sweet, with anise, dried orange peel and yeasty breade rolls. Body has a slick yet astringent quality. Alcohol content seems like it would be 2-3 points higher. Great beer.

Bottle, The Offie, Leicester. Hazy orange colour with a steady thin off white head. Yeasty , fruity aroma. Pleasant mouthfeel. Some citrus hop in the flavour with a hint of spice. Definite orange notes. Plenty going on, and well crafted. A little on the sweet side but thoroughly enjoyable.

From bottle. Part of November Dayton Beer Tasting event. Pours hazy orange/amber with small head. Aroma of yeast, oranges and spice. Flavors match the aroma with the addition of malt and dark fruit. Decent attempt at a Belgian.
