2007 Vintage. 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy coppery orange with a moderate off-white head that is somewhat creamy and leaves a layer of dense film after each sip, lasting to the bottom of the glass. Pleasant aroma of yeast, some light spice and a bit of sweetness. The flavor is malt, yeast, spice, orange and a bit of sugary sweetness. Very nice beer that went down way too easily!

Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow with a one finger creamy light yellow head. The nose is lightly sweet, Belgian, fruity, carrots, phenolic, lightly subdued. The flavor is fruity and yeasty, earthy Belgian flavors, warming, vegetal, carrot, lightly hoppy. Lightly carbonated.

The color was golden/orange. The head was thin, off-white, and creamy. The aroma was hoppy, sweet, and spicy. The flavor was sweet and fruity but lacking. The palate was average. The finish was warm.

Bottle shared with emacgee and aubreya. Light hazy amber pour. Fruity, sweet nose. Belgian sugar; bright summer fruits. Solid but not amazing.

On tap at OBF--Poured a glowing orange hazy body with a thin off-white head. Bubblegum and candy sugar evident in nose. Sweet, creamy, mildly spiced with a sturdy floral and bitter hops presence. Delicious!

On tap at the Oregon Brewers Festival. I remember this beer as good, but that is all I remember about it.

OBF, tap... Poured burnt orange with a thick, beige head. Aroma of esters and cloves with a little roasted malt. Palate is silky with flavors of roasted malt, cloves, maybe cinnamon and a finish of hops blended with a metallic aftertaste.

RBSG 2008. This sample was much better then my previous. Much cleaner, with less yeast floating around like a stew. The flavors all came out cleaner giving a nice citrus tart finish. OBF 2008. Interesting beer, but it didn’t come together for my liking. Strange apple cidery flavor, estery, but almost a rotting fruit sort of note to it. Flavor was very muddy and yeasty tasting, like it was mixed up. The fruity flavors and spiciness in the finish just didn’t mix well for me.
