Jul 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of fiver29. Pours a hazy honey color with one finger off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is chardonnay grapes, peach, apricot and spicy yeast. Taste is sweet citrus, yeast, banana and spice with a funky, lightly sour finish. Medium mouth feel. Very refreshing beer. Thanks John!

Jul 2, 2008 I finally got around to trying this and it was very interesting with a fruity and spicy flavor with a nice malty finish with some sweetness in the finish,it poured a dark amber with a small white head.CHEERS!

Jun 28, 2008 Deep orange-gold pour with a light head. Sweet aroma with lots of yeast and spice. Taste is a little on the sweet caramel side with traces of orange, clove and coriander. Slightly bitter finish is a welcome way to offset the initial sweetness. Good stuff from Goose Island, but I definitely prefer M’s big brother, Pere Jacques.

Jun 27, 2008 Nice amber with a medium to small head. Smells of spicy yeast, light fruit, and some mild citrus and resiny hops. Flavor starts out sweet and sour then moves to slightly bitter. Little bit of an oily mouthfeel and decent carbonation. Not bad.

Jun 22, 2008 Clear orange pour with a thin white head. Spicy malt aroma. Dry bitter flavor with a bit of lemony citrus. Peppery spiciness. Fairly straightforward beer, but not bad.

Jun 18, 2008 Courtesy of topherdrinks, thanks Chris! Pours a hazy golden color with a medium frothy light tan head. Nose of fruits, floral, and metallic overlay. Mouthfeel is light body and with lots of micro bubbles. Initial tasteof caramel sweetness, red fruits, spices apparent corriander. Finishing with a good hop balance that tangy more than bitter. Palate duration is average. Good Head retention with some spot lacing. Drinkable, but probably wouldn’t hit this one up again. Taste is simple and not very appetizing.

Jun 8, 2008 Draught sample at the Milwaukee Beer Barons tasting. Golden yellow with large white slowly diminishing head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, orange, coriander and mild fruit. Taste of fruit, wheat, mild grassy hops and yeast. Somewhat tart and syrupy. So-so at best.

Jun 4, 2008 Spicy but not as much as their Pere Jaques. Copper coloured with thin white head. Slight sour aftertaste. Not extremely complex but rather enjoyable.
