Bottle thanks to Marc! How many damn times does it take to get this rating to stick? I think this will be number 3. Pours an orangey copper color with a minimal head.Aroma is mostly of some nutmeg and malt. Flavor is a bit fruity...light fruit such as pears...some spice, but damn little. Good amount of Euro hop flavor, and a smattering of band-aid funk. Nice mouthfeel in the finish.

BPW #91 Severed from a 12 oz bottle that I picked up at FUBOB’s. Appearance is a deep orange. Aromas and flavors are spiced bread and dry yeastiness. The mouth is nicely creamy. A good fall flavored beer with spiced orange bread coming to mind as you drink.

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #88 of 90. Bottle Dan picked up at some point over the long weekend (thanks). Pours dull orange with fading white head. Has floral citrus nose. Flavor is belgian yeast, mild carbonation, nice citrus fruits, a tad bit floraly....pretty good overall.

Draft. Pours cloudy amber in color with white head. Aroma lemon, spicy and yeasty. Taste bready, citrus, spicy and alcohol taste with bitter finish.

orangey, slight phenols, light toasty caramels, soft milk chocolates, orvallish for certain, yeasty - slight bit of bread dough. this is delicious.

[2008 bottle @ RBESG 2009] Spicy herbs and coriander and sugar in the nose. Cloudy orange brown under a rocky, lasting top. Flavour: white grape, coriander, orange, brown sugar. Sweet and with a weak, herbal bitterness. Sweet finish but clean, low carbonation, medium body.

cloudy orange, large thick offwhite head. flowery hoppy, piny hoppy, spicy as a belgian blonde, a little sweet frutis too, faint bitterness from alc. slightly bready. very nice aroma, surprisingly hoppy for something belgian inspired. flavor is yellow fruits, spices, flowery hops, ends warming bitter. also faint dark fruits. reminds me of belgian blonde, only quite a lot more hops. the hops are more flowery than bitter.

Poured from a chilled 355ml bottle into a snifter. Had a bit of a nightmare with it, took about ten minutes to pry the top off without it exploding. To say it’s lively is a gross understatement. Appearance: Orangey amber colour, with a big super foamy head. Carbonic to the point of the bubbles actually trying to leap out of the glass. Aroma: The aromas were surprisingly weak. I got a bit of spiciness, and a yeasty acidity. Medicinal, a bit like antiseptic. Taste: Again the taste was weak, it was as if the beer had been watered down. There was a slight fruity sweetness, with a clear acidic yeastiness. Mouthfeel: It had a medium feel that was trying to be heavy, and a hyperactive liveliness. Drinkability: This to me is unfortunately a sub-par imitation of a strong Belgian ale. It has the right tastes and aromas but they are far too weak and never seem to quite break through enough.
