2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 OntBeerDrinker (303) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2013
One finger head that fads quickly, rusty amber look, some carbination here there, smell reminds me of some Belguim beer. Like some abby triple, dubble tyoe thing not pale ale. Smells like it’s gummy, sweety, fruity. Taste nowhere near as sweet as I thought,a little watery,a bit spicy and a bit fruity. It’s fine, but I don’t think it\’s super amazing or anything. Cheer’s.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kevinsenn (552) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2013
765mL bottle from LCBO. Yep, 765. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Light malty aroma with slight spice and tons of noble hops. As it warms I pick up sour/tart notes. The taste starts with noble hops and spices, and leads into a tart finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 blankboy (5152) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottle [765ml]. Pours a slightly hazy copper-gold with an average size long-lasting fizzy off-white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of fruit, lightly sour grain, light grassy hops, yeast, herbs and spices. Flavour is grassy and herbal, a bit sweet and yeasty, and finally there’s some citrus and a light bitter finish. Average to medium . Pretty good, nothing amazing but enjoyable enough.

March 11, 2009, vintage -- 12 oz bottle -- The label says this develops in the bottle for up to 5 years and I popped it a bit past the four-year mark. At this point, the yeast absolutely dominates the aroma with hints of newly mowed grass and lemon. The taste is just so smooth with little bits of sweetness and bitterness dancing around the edges. Excellent. Wish I had a few more of these hidden but guess I’ll have to start over with my next trip to the beer store.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 DerWeg (1393) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 20, 2013
Love the brett and fantastic balance going on in this, fruit and some earth and mineral and a brisk effervescent freshness with a nice edge of dry from hop and the conditioning yeast.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jimthechap (1195) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 19, 2013
Appears on the brassy side of copper amber with loads of sparkle and a thinnish covering of off-white head. Has typically fruity, sweaty, sour Belgian yeast aromas. Sour citrus and basement prominent on nosing. Silky mouthfeel with some prickly carbonation. All the aromas manifest themselves in the flavour profile along with orange juiciness and tart, tangy malts. Lingering sourness carries the finish on and on.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 TylerJonScott (29) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
Pours light copper with white frothy head. Aromas of earthy hops, yeast, melon and citrus. Similar taste with a bretty taste. Nicely balance with the alcohol.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 hangunder (98) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
Sweet belgian yeast, cloves, sweet malt on the nose. Clear copper, thin, short-lived head. Taste yields some interesting sour/tart notes that weren’t apparent in the nose upfront, clean middle and a belgian yeast/slightly spicy finish. Slightly hoppy at the end prevent this beer from being cloying. Medium body, carbonation. Not bad.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 shaynsawchuk (165) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2013
750 mL bottle. Pours copper with a foamy white head. Aromas of citrus, melon, herbal hop, yeast and brett funk. Mild malt sweetness well balanced by alcohol bite and earthy hop. Tasty now but would like to see this age up and develop more brett character.
