| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Cloudy orange, thin beige head. Ripe fruit aroma with some tartness, honey, and clove. Taste is not overly sweet or bold but is mild and smooth with peach and pear notes. Maybe this bottle has some pretty good age on it. dutch23mp (171), Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Lovely beer. Tasty too. Poured with a grand foamy, frothy off white head and great lace. Color is a medium amber. Aroma is very yeasty, malty, a little hop, and a bit vineous. Flav’s the same but more full. Very good body and carbonation. Satisfying. Don’t pick up much on the alcohol. Nicely balanced. Finish is good. Kind of on the border between a drinkable beer and a special. I’d imagine that would be ideal from the brewer’s perspective. Whatever.
