2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-brown color with a huge creamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was wood, nut and was fairly dry. The flavor was dry, woody, a bit roasty and nutty with a hint of smoke. Medium length dry wood, nut and smoke finish. Medium body. Eh.

Clear dark brown. Lacing off-white head. Aroma of rye is pretty mild. Taste is mild rye bread. Medium-light body. Nothing to it, but decent as a session beer.

Not much of a winter guy but this was dark and malty with not too many spices except for a little rye which balanced out the heavyness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear light brown body with a nice one finger frothy beige head. The nose is nice and subtle with some light nutty and toasty malts and a light addition of aroma hops. A little bit of lightly roasted coffee as well. The flavor is pretty spot on for the style from those Iíve had. Light chocolate and toasted malt with a little light huskiness. Nice balanced bitterness that lingers on the finish for the perfect amount of time before the malt reemerges. Light to medium bodied with a watery texture, while not being thin. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Pretty darn good beer. Wish there were more Milds available, or maybe just that the ones out there were as good as this.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
At a tasting, thanks zvikar, smallish head, crystal clear brown colour, aroma of cola, dark bread and hints of charred wood, flavour of chocolate cake with some woodiness, a touch coarse bitterness and some sourness that do not blend together well but still quite drinkable.
