Dobre, smaczne i wytrawne brown ale. Bardzo zbliżone do Brookyńskiego. Ciemno brązowy kolor z rubinowymi refleksami z niewielką pianką. Ale piwo jest bardzo treściwe i sycące.

Dark brown pour with a light tan head. The aroma is of sweet malt and chocolate. A creamy feel with a sweet malt and chocolate flavor. Very good, just not the top.

12oz bottle. Pours a medium brownish red with an off white head. Better than average brown ale. Not too sweet malty taste with a very slight hop after taste.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Best when consumed by date 04-02-07. Dark cola color with a thin tan head. Nutty caramel aroma. Smoky notes in an otherwise thin brew. May be way past its prime.

Thin tan head doesn't last long, dark red colour. Smells of dark malts, woody and dark fruits. The body is light to medium. It's sweet and malty with notes of biscuit and hints of hops at the finish.

12oz bottle into beer mug. Clear brown color with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of dark malt, hazelnut, some chocolate and some brown sugar. Taste is heavy malt sweetness, nutty, light caramel, some chocolate and nicely hop balanced. Medium body, low carbonation, clean finish. Decent ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 1/11/13
Aroma: The nose has malty and sweet, with chocolate, some caramel and toffee as well
Appearance: It pours a clear dark brown color with a red hue, a fizzy tan head and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is medium-plus sweet, heavy malty, with nutty undertones, and minimal hops
Palate: The body is medium, it has average carbonation, and a clean, lengthy finish
This is a solid brown that could probably use a bit of a hop presence for some balance. It is a little one-dimensionally sweet/malty. Still though, it is well-made and drinkable, and pretty much what you’d expect from Goose Island quality-wise in this style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer smells of roasted nuts and caramel, and it was a reddish dark brown with a frothy white, prominent head. It is slightly sweet with a medium-full body, and the creamy texture with a soft carbonation makes this beer quite pleasant.

Draft at Bull Run Tap House. Pours dark brown with a thin khaki head. Nice nuttiness on the nose. A bit of malt on the tongue but the nut notes are very prominent as well. Finishes clean. Solid example of style.
