COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aromatic blend of oats, chocolate and coffee enhances our classic Oatmeal Stout. Encompassing award-winning flavor, a rich black over ruby hue and a creamy tan head, this stout is memorable and enduring. All in all, a truly drinkable brew.

I am not much of a stout man but this one hits all the flavour points for me kinda’ like toffee.

Surprisingly good at the price. A bit thin as stouts go, but a solid flavor none the less.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2003 Strong smell of malt with chocolate and coffee. Light body, caramel malt and chocolate dominate. Smooth and creamy with dry burnt aftertaste.

A very thin stout. Good flavor and no lingering aftertaste like some stouts, but absolutely no head and weaker flavor than some of my favorites.

A nice smooth stout but not really anything special.

Every one I’ve had has been a bit undercarbonated. This beer is big malt, of course unconventional for Goose Island. But it does have a very distinctive taste.

I really enjoyed this Stout. I don’t drink a lot of stout, but this was very good IMO. The roasted coffee taste wasn’t overpowering and the hops weren’t too bitter.. A good balance

Tastes a bit like Bell’s Kalamazoo stout. Very tasty, but could have been a trace more carbonated.
