Commercial Description:
An aromatic blend of oats, chocolate and coffee enhances our classic Oatmeal Stout. Encompassing award-winning flavor, a rich black over ruby hue and a creamy tan head, this stout is memorable and enduring. All in all, a truly drinkable brew.

12oz bottle: id have to try it at the brewery but Id say decent oatmeal stout, smoke and burnt malt bite to the flavor-though i feel the body is lacking to be called an oatmeal stout. the flavor lingers in your mouth for a good amount of time. give it a try, but ive had better as they say ;)

It’s aight. Not much nose, and it’s a little too watery for me, but I don’t pretend to know a shitload about beer. I just love it, and this is a decent, though in no ways great, stout.

Bottled@SBWF2008. Deep ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is cookies, some caramel malts and roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, some nuts and also mild smoked wooden notes. Aftertaste is licorice, roast and some tobaccoish notes. Wellbalanced and nice.

from a bottle, served into a standard pint at O’Hare A dark brown / dark amber, almost black. Cola colours. Head on this one is a little lighter - both a lighter tan(even offwhite) and lasting. Oatmeal graininess really stands out on the front of the aroma, along with standard roasty malts - some SLIGHT coffee hints, but not a great deal of that going on. Roast malts finalized by the oat flavours pretty much dominate this brew. A little straight forward and simple - not noting chocolates, coffee, etc... in the taste, and it might be a little nice for some added complexity. A little on the lighter side of things... comes across a little more like a lighter leaning schwarzbier or sth. That’s not a bad thing, but I find myself looking for the creamier mouthfeel that often accompanies an oatmeal stout. Like most often, the ABV is a lower and/or more modest percentage, making it easily sessionable for what it’s worth. A good beer, not a great beer, but I’d have it again.

A slight aroma of roast with a touch of chocolate and sweetness. Pours an opaque black, with a tight cap of light tan head. Very light bodied, flavor is of roasted notes, touches of chocolate, and a balanced sweetness with a hint of creaminess. A very drinkable stout, and one that I would hand over to those who say they don’t like "dark beers".

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Aroma of sweetish hard roasted malts and a little vanilla. Medium body with sweet hard roasted malts. Soft mouthfeel and the bitterness is very discreet. 190908
