COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the traditional Märzen style our Oktoberfest pours a brilliant copper over rose color with a bone white head. Notes of toffee and burnt sugar in the aroma and flavors of sweet dried apricots are delivered in a dry malty body with the mild earthy bitterness that is the hallmark of Hallertau hops.

Bottle. Murky deep orange pour with a small spotty head. Fairly malty. Sweet aroma with some dark fruit as well. Medium palate. Not bad for the style.

APPEARANCE - traditional octoberfeast copper tan color. Nice head. NOSE - perfect light malty sweetness. FLAVOR - spot on for traditional Oktoberfest flavor. NOTES - One more great addition to GI's new offerings.

Classic amber appearance with a large beige head and a fair amount of lacing. Fruity, sweet malt aroma with a hint of red licorice. Flavor stays sweet and fruity followed by a modest amount of spicy, herbal hops thru to the aftertaste. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel leading to an average length finish.

Pretty good for the style. Nice malty flavor but a fairly weak aroma. Not bad and worth trying.

Bottle. A- Malty, spices, slightly sweet, brown sugar, apricots. A- Copper color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Malty, spices, stone fruits, burnt sugars. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Some nice fruity notes you normally don’t get in a Marzen. I did like it less as it warmed but overall, it was a fairly good beer. Good spices and overall pretty well balanced. Not my favorite of the style but nothing wrong with it.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear orange with white head. Aroma has bready notes, dried fruit, caramel. Flavor is moderately sweet with biscuity caramel flavors and some spices. Minimal to no bitterness. Medium bodied. Definitely one of the better Marzen beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is one of the best marzens I’ve had. Pours a deep apricot color. Aromas of sweet dried fruits. Flavors are fruity and malty. Very nice and easy to drink.

Bottle from North End Suprette. Pours a fairly clear deep golden amber color with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates. Aromas of rich bready maltiness, flavor follows the same basic formula but adds some melanoid and light dried fruits. Pretty good take on a Marzen from a stateside brewery.

Pretty easy drinking with a sharp barley profile. Finishes with a touch of bitterness and some mash sourness. Pours dark amber with OK head and lacing. Tao at union pub.
