Brewed in the traditional Märzen style our Oktoberfest pours a brilliant copper over rose color with a bone white head. Notes of toffee and burnt sugar in the aroma and flavors of sweet dried apricots are delivered in a dry malty body with the mild earthy bitterness that is the hallmark of Hallertau hops.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a cloudy copper color. There isn’t much head - about one finger with an off-white shade - and what head there is fades quickly, leaving minimal lacing behind. S: Actually, it doesn’t have the dominating caramel maltiness of the typical marzen, instead going the route of something relatively well-hopped. The hops don’t seem that grassy or bitter, rather they’re fruity - think apricots and peaches. I definitely think this aroma works well if not quite brilliantly. T: Again, it’s fruity and almost sweet - no, actually, it is sweet. Not that I mind, the sweetness here works well. It has that fruit punch quality (which is really just an apricot/peach note) I liked so much in many Great Lakes lagers, though it doesn’t seem quite as refined here. Caramel malts emerge in the finish. M: This is a good thirst quencher. It’s sweet, not particularly dry, and is quite refreshing, even. It does tingle the tongue slightly, which I could do without. Still, carbonation, though a touch low, is perfect for my stylistic preferences. O: A solid marzen from a solid brewery. There’s just enough of a satisfying bend to this where I’d definitely drink it again, and maybe even buy it again; I certainly wouldn’t mind drinking it by the six-pack even.

A malty sweet nose and a full body make it a well defined version of the style. A dry finish and medium low hop presence.

Pours a rust color with a medium sized head that shrinks a bit but never goes away.

the aroma is malty & leafy with a light sweetness, it’s mild but pleasant smelling.

The flavor is on the sweeter side for Oktoberfest, decidedly not cloying or anything just a touch sweeter than I would normally want from the style. It’s malt forward with a light spicy hoppiness and some mild toffee, it’s oddly enough even a little pumpkiny,.... uh?

Bottle. Pours a light amber reddish orange color with no head. Nose is grainy and sweet and not full of any real flavor. Taste is pure malt and caramel. Finish is sweet as well, not a big lager lover, but yhis is drinkable. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Pours a clear amber with a white head and malty and caramel. Taste is light with malty notes throughout, with caramel, bread, light fruit and biscuits leading to a malty, medium finish. Solid for the style, drinkable

Bottle- Pours a bright amber color with a small head that fades to nominal lacing. Aroma of mild citrus, malt sweetness, with a bit of fruit sweetness and grain. Taste of malt, light fruit sweetness and bit of grain. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly light body, a subtle crispness and clean. Decent beer for the style.

Bottle. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma, toasty, caramelly, a bit nutty, a bit fruity. Sweetish malt flavor with caramel, bread, light toastiness, a fruity note and a drier finish with very light bitterness. OK, pretty easy-drinking.

12oz bottle shared. Pours copper red with off white head. Nice aroma of malts and some sweetness. Flavor wise for a marzan is actually pretty good solid malt backbone with something like a dried fruit and a touch of caramel. Overall good for style and flavor.
