COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the traditional Märzen style our Oktoberfest pours a brilliant copper over rose color with a bone white head. Notes of toffee and burnt sugar in the aroma and flavors of sweet dried apricots are delivered in a dry malty body with the mild earthy bitterness that is the hallmark of Hallertau hops.

12oz to mini dimple. Smells of faint malts. Deep orange brown copper like color. Only slightly on the darker side for the style. Taste is sweet caramel malt, with a nice slightly bitter finish.

Sampled at the 2013 Artisans Craft Beer Festival. It poured a rich copper brown color with a white head. The aroma was of roasty malts with some woody hints. The taste was of a nice tangy hop front with a solid malt body and a touch of sweetness. It was refreshing with a medium body and good but not aggressive carbonation. The finish was of light good bitters.

Bottled on 01JULY13. Nose light malty with pleasant and appropriate swathes of citric and earthy noble hops. Beautiful clear amber body with a short beige head. Taste lightly sweet malt, some nice Munich/roasty/Maillard character and light nuttiness, fresh and clean, though the aftertaste a bit stale by comparison. Some caramel glaze and beautiful noble hops, Hallertau for sure but seems like some Saaz as well. Crisp light-medium body. Tasty and very nice, even style appropriate, but ultimately too sweet for me to invest in a six pack. Have to hand it to their marketers, this is one of the rare times where a commercial description is utterly accurate I’m blown away!).

Has a cool reddish copper pour but not head & leaves no lacing. The aroma is quite mild as advertised as well as the flavor. I’ve never been a huge okctoberfest guy and this just screams bland to me. It’s drinkable and light but just not enough going on here for me. Has an ok sweet/bitter finish but I’m not going out of my way to find this again!

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a mostly transparent brownish orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes maltyand lightly doughy with notes of caramel. Solid on the palate. An okay Oktoberfest.

Pours copper color with white head. Caramel malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavor. Some roasted notes and slight hop finish.

Serving: Bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a light amber color with a small white head. The nose is light with a little toasted malt and caramel. Light and fairly crisp on the palate. Bread, toast, pale malt, light caramel. Slight earthy bitterness on the back end. A little on the thin side, but if I’m going to drink an Ofest in August, this might be the one.

Light brown amber from bottle. Tiny head. Caramel and bready malts. Could use more hops

The aroma was like other oktoberfests and when it was poured it looked like a coppery color. Overall I did not enjoy it as much as I enjoyed other ones.

12oz bottle. Amber-copper body, steady off-white head. Start off nice, but finishes with that odd apricot tone. Some biting noble hops could’ve helped this one out, this one just falls flat. Hollow, watery body. Beers like this are heavily suspect, and why it is lamented that AB acquired GI.
