I really like Ughmesh’s description on this one. It starts off sweet,/sour, spicy. Finishes with a big bourbon, fruit, flavor. It finished hoppy, but dry and smooth.

On tap at FoBAB 5. Poured near clear coppery amber with a light cap of white head. The aroma had a nice sweet/sour contrast (perhaps a little Candi Sugar playing around with Brett).. caramel and toffee not far behind, and an enjoyable level of funk was presented. The flavor had lots of peppery spices with a great Belgian yeast strain and some toffee-like sweetness.. warm and complex.. Brett hit with a cool sour & funky appeal.. the sweet bourbon sugars lingered for the first ¾ of the drink, and just rocked on the sweet, warm, and spicy finish. Medium-bodied and smooth across the middle of the palate with nice tangy yeast and peppery notes.. just felt fantastic throughout the entire drink. Great beer!

FoBAB 2007: Coppery with a minimal head and some oily character. The aroma has notes of sugar, pear, fig, orange peel, biscuity and bready malts, phenolic and there is a light hint of funk. The taste has a nice twang up front supported by a cheesy brett note. The base is a sweet syrupy malt and rich fruity combination, interesting complexity that I would like to see even more funked out. Not too shabby, thanks for the recommendation from the ratebeer wild beer table.
