Pour a dark amber with chunks of yeast floating around. Aroma is strong: Fruity, sweet malty with alcohol and caramel. Mouthfeel is oily and carbonated. Not bad but just a little strong maybe this would be better if it mellowed for a couple of years. Taste of dark fruits and yeast with alcohol flavor and warming in the finish.

Oct 8, 2008 12 oz bottle. Another favorite of the night. Lots of caramel and other sweet malty flavors and aromas. Sweet through out with a finish that was just a touch fruity. Good stuff.

Oct 5, 2008 Unclear golden color. You can tell this one is not from Belgium but it is good in its own right. Sweet with a medium body. Alchol hits you almost immediately.

Oct 5, 2008 12 oz bottle courtesy of fordest. Poured a copper color with no head. The aroma was loaded with caramel and mellow oranges. The flavor was caramel malts forward with some sweet winey fruits filling in the sides. The mouthfeel was malty bordering on syrupy. The finish was short and sweet. Overall; Too sweet and syrupy for me, but others seem to enjoy it immensely.

Oct 4, 2008 Clear copper, no head. Evident caramelly nose. Sweet with medium-full bodied. Fairly soft with with some apricot, caramelized sugar and glue. Intense, but a bit assaulting with a minty black currant finish.
