jsquire (1899), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Dec 15, 2007 On tap at the pub. Foamy beige head over a deep mahogany beer. Light roasted grain and chocolate nose. Bready malts, toasted bread and roasted grains with a little chocolate and some cola sweetness. The finish tends towards burnt toast. The whole thing is very flavorful but it does feel lighter in body. Good lunch beer with the Pilsen burger. fiulijn (5900), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Nov 29, 2007 Draught at the brewpub, Clybourn location Dark brown color. Very light aroma, watery mouthfeel, weak, with traces of roasted malt. Too poor. JF_GRIND (1220), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 6, 2007 I was passing through Chicago and had time for a few hours @ Goose Island Clybourn brewpub. PMD Mild was a perfect beer for my situation, a session beer with adequate flavor and body. PMD Mild had a stout like body and lacing. I think it was even on special the night I had it for three bucks a pint. xnoxhatex (791), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 1, 2007 On draft at clybourn. Dark red with ruby red glow and thick tan nitro head. Aroma is caramel and dark fruit with mild grain and some spicy noble hops. Caramel, grain some roasted malt flavor, raisins and sweet, mild hop finish. Thin body with ild carb that fades quickly. Overall unfortunately thin but surprisingly flavorful.
