Commercial Description:
Brewed by our Fulton brewers here at LPB, Saison is a Belgian farmhouse ale traditionally brewed in the cooler months for summer consumption. The saison strain of yeast works at warmer temperatures and produces unique fruity and spicy aromatics with slight tart character

Pour is clear deep golden with a thin sticky off white head...smell is perfumey and sweet with vanilla, lavender, and pepper...taste is sweet at first with vanilla and lavender, turning quite nicely dry in the finish...another American saison that isn’t super sweet!!!!

Sample at Clybourn location. Goldish color. Aroma was good; musty and fruity. Flavor was similar, with a bit more spice; solid banana and fruit elements. Not much tartness, not sure why I wrote that down. Overall it was good, but didn’t remind me too much of a classic example of the style.
