(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with nicely retained medium white head. Aroma of horseblanket, leather, citrus, pepper, and strawberries. Flavor of citrus, bread, lemon wafers, dried strawberries, and grass with a soft mouthfeel and a moderately dry finish.

On tap at Dexters. Much lighter than I expected. The strawberry is very subtle and nice. I am not a pepper fan in beer, but I didn’t get much and that is a plus for me.

Pours hazy yellowish orange with white head, aroma has notes of grass, biscuit, pepper, some subtle honey and plenty of fruit notes, mainly strawberry and some other red fruit in there as well. Taste was like reading the ingredients off the list, honey sweetness along with grass notes, going into the peppery spicy notes finishing with a lot of sweet strawberry. Very interesting beer!

Gabf. Hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Light proper, quite strong strawberry, yeasty aroma. Peppery, strong fresh strawberry, sweet yeasty flavor.

On tap at Rattle N Hum. Pour is hazy yellow with some brown in the background and a finger-wide white head. Aroma is of Belgian spices, raspberries, strawberries, and hay. Flavor is nice and light with hints of pepper and a huge strawberry presence.

ACBF. Great Saison,had some body, lingering citrus finish. Alcohol was well hidden. Really decent, This one should be bottled.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2011 Tap at Romans. Pours hazy light golden with fizzy head. Aroma with little nuances of pepper, Belgian yeast, and tiny bits of strawberry. Flavors are similar with lots of complex flavors that mesh well. The strawberry is present, but not overdone. Finishes with a pleasant peppery flavor.

Rattle n hum’s goose island event. Amazing strawberry aroma that I haven’t seen in a beer to date... Very fresh and juicy scent. Taste is on the light side, wheat some honey, and less strawberry tang than the nose

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2011 Draft at rnh with streets, sips and Kyle. Pours a golden body with no head, slight white lacing. Aroma is fresh wheat and strawberries. Mouthfeel is smooth and thin with notes strawberry, wheat and light spice.

Tap at Romans’ Pub. The beer pours to a clear golden body with a white head. The aroma is strawberries, subtle pepper, and sweet green grapes. The flavor is pale malt with a light sweet grape and white pepper. Some hay too. The palate is medium bodied with a subtle peppery bite.
