Tap at the Blind Tiger Goose Island Event: Pours a hazy light golden with a fading white head. Has a crisp aroma- sweet lemon peel, tart-ish wheaty notes, and a Belgian estery presence (No funkiness) Crisp and fairly light feel to the body, with a mild tartness in the flavor. Some lemon peel character, with just a brief lactic suggestion. The yeast profile leans to sweet esters, slightly bubblegum-like. The finish has a decent hop character offering a succinct citrusy bitterness. Not bad, it just didn’t have any surfaced funkiness or sour character. Middle of the road yeast character.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Aroma is softer than the first two beers, nice spiciness and a soft grassy/straw flavour. Fairly soft with a nice light tartness. Flavour is decent. A soft lightly cooling minty character. Light tropical citrus with a bit of cherry and lean pale malts. Crackery and lean with a touch of lemony flavour. Nice beer... but I think I prefer the clausenii and lambicus versions.

Draught @ BTAH. Pours hazy light yellow, thin white head. Nose is light, bit of crisp wheat and citrus, and a very subtle, round, lactic sour note. Flavor is again light, with some very light grassy hops peeking through, crisp wheat a a hint of lemon, with the lacto showing up with a round, almost off-sweet lightly sour note. My favorite of three variants. Very subtle, but my god, I could have drank it all night, and been happy doing so. Light body, lightly reserved carbonation.
