3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy light yellow with a large easily excitable white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast, with some light citrus and a hint of funk. The flavor has lots of banana, with lemon zest, barnyard, and some vanilla I only picked out because I was looking for it. Light body with soft carbonation and a dry slightly tart, almost bretty finish. Very satisfying and refreshing.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer is gorgeous. a cloudy lemon yellow with sediment drifting about under a crisp foamy white head. A dry, mildly spiced aroma dominated by yeast with a faint floral or citrus character. The body is similarly dry, almost parching. A little of that sweet character in the finish, which was very dry. This is the best saison I’ve tried in years. Worthy of being served next to some duponts.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale orange golden, slightly hazed. Foamy head is mostly diminishing and leaves only a small amount of lace. Nose is yeasty, slightly sulfurous w/ a hint of citrus which reminds me of American hops but is probably on account of the orange peel. It’s this flavor and the delicate mouthfeel that really drive the beer. Very light in texture w/ very vigorous but soft carbonation. Orange, lemon and a bit of cloves and vanilla. That the nose has that strange sulfur note in the nose is really unfortunate. It is truly distracting from what otherwise is a very elegant, well-balanced and unique beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale yellow-grey pour with a diminishing off-white head and ample lacing. Nose offers a corn-like graininess along with citrus blossoms and light coriander spicing. Flavor reflects the nose and adds a sweet-tart mandarin orange flavor to go along with the smooth, creamy, vanilla-tinged finish. Mouthfeel is full of soft carbonation which marries beautifully with the lightly nuanced and refreshing nature of the brew. As a ’side note’, the bottle artwork is simple but magnificently elegant. Interesting, fun, and worth trying ... like the most demure, polite, and unimposing saison. "Sophie" would be a classy date ... deceptively ’fragile’, with a beautiful mind, and a gorgeous smile.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Poured a deep hazy beige/orangey color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of medium-sweet Belgian malt with some notes of orange peel and lightly tart whine wine is quite enticing. Taste is a wonderful mix between some tart notes from the wine barrel with some refreshing notes of Curacao and a nice attenuated Belgian malt backbone. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done overall with good drinkability factor and some good complexity.

Bottle thanks to beerad666 (BA)!
Berliner Weisse appearance with pale yellow-gold body and a soapy white head. Nose is predominately lemon and banana with light orange, overall very clean fruit profile. Flavor is light spice with more lemon and dry yeast, again straightforward, clean and fruity. Thin body with fizzy carbonation.
