3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy golden with a fine, white head. Peppery citrus aroma, hints of oranges. In the mouth a lot pepper flavours, nicely balancing acidic orange fruit, though mostly on the bitter side. Very Belgian in character- very elegant.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours out looking just like champagne. Lots of bubbles! Lacy white head. Aroma of citrus. Flavor is as advertised - tart orange with vanilla finish. Very drinkable. This could become my new summer brew! Note to Goose Island: put this into six-packs!

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was a very good saison that i had over the fourth of July. It was a little warm when i had it but that shouldn’t take away too much from the flavor.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Poured a nice yellowish color with a long lasting pillowy white head. It left lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was citrus, orange, and lemon zest. Flavor was grass, spices, zest, and corrider. Great aftertaste. Goose Island does it again with another great beer. I love all goose island offerings. They don’t make a bad beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Bright glowing gold. Complex, spicy, fruity aroma, with biscuity pilsner malt, citrus and grass. Peppery dry hops, a bit of honey, big orange, spice. Really good, though a bit too sweet and spicy, and a touch too much orange. Not as refined as the best, but a very nice saison indeed. Maybe the best I’ve had from to US to date.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bright yellow, slight cloudiness, huge white head, tiny carb bubbles, great lacing. Orange and lemon peel up front, hints of stone fruits, mango/peach/apricot, bright floral character, not sure though, daffodil, yeasty. Perfect citrus zest up front, lemon/orange peel again. Light cereal, white grape and pepper through the middle. Oaky/vanilla finish. Effervescent mouthfeel, fades to soft/billowy finish. World class.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My bottle [650ml] shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & mabel. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with an average size diminishing foamy white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty along with herbs, spices, fruit and some alcohol. Flavour of yeast and herbs foremost followed by fruit, honey and a lightly spicy bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Really good, not as amazing as I expected due to some of the high ratings but still very, very good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from the bottle a light golden orange-yellow. Ocean foamy head, and lots of bubbles. Aroma of citrus: orange and lemon. Mouthfeel is bubbly -- maybe too bubbly. Texture was like club soda. The finish was clean, with hints of orange and lemon, and slight bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2011 2010 bomber from bevmo on 5/9/10
hazy pale orange with a soft white head.
it smells or orange, pale malt, straw, flowers, bubblegum and a touch stinky.
the flavor is the same with the addition of some spiciness on the finish. it is sweeter than i’d ideally like which covers up the funk and crisp texture the style needs. 7/3/6/3/14/3.3
5/1/11 12 oz. bottle from 4/23/10. Serious brett nose and dryness on the palate. Highly carbonated.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a bright yellow/orange color with long lasting white head. Fresh orange dominates the aroma. Taste is very floral & earthy with notes of clove, chardonay & orange. A touch sour, but mellow belgian malt is forefront. I’m not crazy about the style, but this is pretty solid. Light with a solid malt backbone, drinkable, fruity. I’d buy it again.
