COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in wine barrels with orange peel, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale. A subtle, spicy white pepper note, a hint of citrus from the orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish make Sofie an intriguing choice for Champagne drinkers and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian Saisons.

Bomber from Bevmo. Pours light, straw yellow with a fizzy white head and specks of lace. Smells bready and yeasty sweet with hints of wine barrel, biscuits and straw. Tastes sweet and bready and yeasty. Grains first, than sweetness. Slight wine flavors and barely any wood character. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.

Had with James and pat. Pours a hazy light gold. No noticeable head. Aroma and flavor are similar to a wheat. So much corriander and orange peel. Spices are well balanced.

Pours cloudy yellow with a nice white head and a citrus aroma. Thre is a yeasty light malt flavor featuring citrus and spice. The mouthfeel is at first smooth, but turns to carbonation. This brew has all the elements of a good Belgian-style saison and is a pleasure to drink.

Pale yellow with a finely carbonated billowing white head. Sour, yeasty Belgian nose right off that follows into the first sip. True to the Belgian style with a peppery, sour flavor with a touch of lemon and cloves. You can definitely taste the wild yeast here but itís very well balanced with the other flavors. Iím not a big fan of Brett, so for the other 2 of you out there who arenít either, donít worry, youíll like this beer!

Bottle drank during the May 2010 Utah tasting. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a huge white head. The aroma is dusty, sweet malts, light fruit. The flavor is nice and straightforward; sweet malts, light fruit, spices and banana. Enjoyable.
