3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a tulip.
4.5 A: Nearly clear golden straw color. Two and a half fingers of creamy/pillowy white head that retains excellently and leaves tons of pillowy lacing.
4.0 S: Good amount of barnyard straw funkiness. Lemony citrus. Some clove and a pleasant yeasty spiciness. Good aroma overall, but could be more pronounced.
3.5 T: Not as fruity in the taste. Actually, it’s a dry fruitiness if that makes any sense centered around lemon. Unmalted wheat is one of the more pronounced flavors. Straw funkiness again, but not as much as in the nose. Pleasant yeastiness with pepper and a touch of clove. Decently bitter.
3.0 M: Light body. Too light actually, even for a saison and thus could be a bit creamier. Carbonation is very spritzy, but fine.
3.5 D: Good brew. I like a good brett’d beer every once in a while and this one didn’t disappoint.

Fruity, sour, a bit sweet, proper Belgian styled saison. Pours light yellow, clear. Palate isn’t that great.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden color in the glass. Spicy yeast aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, good wild yeast character. Nice to see someone putting effort into a relatively uncommon style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle. Very light in color. Yellow gold with a finger sized foam head. Yeasty and very light. Somewhat of a lemon zest in the aroma and flavor. Does have somewhat of a champagne type flavor to it, made for a nice enjoyable, sipping beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a turbid blonde, head is thick lacy and lasts a fairly long time. I am partial to dark looking beers, but this is a very pretty pour. Aroma is that of orange juice, orange peel, and yeast. Tastes of mostly orange, light malts, and nutmeg with a hint of bittering hops. The mouthfeel is nice, thick, good carbonation, definitely adds to the beer. This is a very nice light belgian and I would definitely buy again.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2011 The color is an absolutely gorgeous cloudy gold. I mean really beautiful, almost-jizzed-my-past-while-pouring-it beautiful. Of course, unlike women (or maybe not...), appearance counts for little in comparison to taste and smell. The aroma entices, very sweet, very floral although spruce and caramel also come to mind. With a pleasant but overly potent presence of alcohol, the aftertaste satisfies.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 65cl bottle. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Drank half one day and the rest a couple of days later and amazingly the taste, smell, and even carbonation was the same. Very sharp and crisp. Flavor is spicy, coriander, lemon, with just a touch of fruit sweetness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy pour with some white head. Citrus and spice aroma with a touch of leather. Fruit, spice and funk flavor are smoother possibly due to barreling. Belgian like notes are memorable.
