Taste is pepper, earthy farmhouse notes, spicy grains, and white wine. This was a decent saison from a brewer whose quality is sure to fall off due to the recent acquisition by Anheuser-Busch. Try them while you can. Note: quality hasn’t fallen off yet.

Pours hazy peach color. Spicy straw and cat urine aroma. Flavor is a nice sour yeasty flavor with a slight funk. A papery bitter with a slight white wine sweetness. Finishes dry and delicious.

Head doesn’t last long. Smell is light sweetness,fruit,grass. Taste is bitterness,grass,grapefruit,yeasty,bready. Golden color. Medium-heavy bodie. Little bit of a burn from 6.5% Pair’s well with some Mild Holland Guda cheese and some blue cheese I am eating with it! Cheer’s!!!!

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 On tap at Blue monk. Yellow pour with a nice substantial white head. Aroma is some yeast with some floral notes and orange rind. Not a strong scent. Taste is smooth and mild sweet with a relatively long finish. Yeast and orange blossom.

765 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy, straw yellow with lasting white head. Aroma is funky yeast with zesty citrus, bread and spice. Flavour is quite fruity with pear, white grape, tropical fruit and orange peel, underlying funk and some gentle spiciness. Lively carbonation. Very nice.

Pours a hazy pale straw colour with foamy white head. Aromas of sour lacto, farmy yeast and a bit woody. Really taste the lacto balanced by sweetness. Nice fruit and slight oak. Champagne mouth feel. Good beer!

Smells winey and citrusy, maybe a hint of oak/wood. Taste is very dry, tart and spicy. Citrusy flavors as well. Very tasty

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a foamy white head. Aromas of curacao, bell pepper, biscuit and tropical fruit. A touch of sweetness backed by lacto sourness, vegetal hop and a lightly oaky finish. High carbonation with a champagne like mouth feel. Delightfully refreshing and pleasantly complex.

Draught at Flo & Santos. Poured clear yellow with creamy white head. Sweet fruity aromas. Tangy tingly wheat flavor. Very enjoyable.

Right one the bottle is opened, tons of brett aroma coming through on the nose. On closer inspection, get some mild malt sweetness, the orange peel and spice. Appearance is quite interesting, looks quite unique -- almost like carbonated pineapple juice. Head is very thin and frothy. Taste is delicious, quite sour upfront, spice in the middle and a clean finish with a hint of Belgian yeast. Don’t get much of the advertised oak barrel, but maybe I’m just comparing this to the Dulcis Succubus. Medium bodied, highly carbonated and highly refreshing.
